  1. 8600 HHRs is pretty impressive. Note that year-to-date are off by only 0,9%. Do we have GM's inventory numbers? probably below average.
  2. Any insider has a clue of september sales? It will be a tough month. Foreign are gonna take another piece of the cake.
  3. I was a big GM fan, but now that I have seen the new interiors of the Cobalt, Impala, G6, Lacrosse, HHR... It's really disappointing. It looks so cheap. Now go sit in a Honda, Toyota or Mazda to see what an interior should be. What are you doing? you are cutting cost where you should not. You are supposed to improve the quality of the materials. I thought you had understand. GM's house is full of bean counters. Fire them all and bring some passionate people in. Value pricing is just sh"" to me. I want to pay more and have quality. You will lose more market share again with your bad decisions. For my next car, GM will at the bottom of my list, that's for sure.
  4. I don't like the interiors, soooooooo cheap. BEAN COUNTERS ARE STILL THERE MORE THAN EVER. Those cars are made for fleet only. The japanese should not worry. Lutz promised world class interior, but it will never happen.. Poor GM.
  5. Then stop putting crappy material in your cars like all the hard plastic in the nice Impala, HHR, Cobalt, G6... Better products are the answer, stop focusing on value pricing and start putting value into your vehicles.
  6. It seems decent to me. At least the exterior is nice.
  7. How can you say that the materials are high quality? To me it looks like the Impala interior, the design is nice but it's only hard plastic. I can't wait for someone to sit in one and tell us the quality of the materials. I'm afraid it will be the same than all other vehicles released by GM lately. Check the reaction of the members toward the Impala's interior. And this is the picture of the current Toyota, not the new one... And if the Sequoia is better...What's gonna be left to GM?
  8. No, but it might help a bit.
  9. I'm with you on this one, I think there are still many areas where it's just good enough. 6-speed should have been standard. I'm afraid that the interior will be full of hard plastic like the Impala's. GM could have knocked out the competition, but there are still bean counters at GM. Lutz said that GM would have world standard interiors, but honestly, have you seen one yet? And we still don't know what will look like the next Toyota? If the interior is better, has a better fuel economy and a 6-speed tranny? But the best part is the new steering wheel, it should be standard all across Chevy's line-up.
  10. Cool, I think it's nice. Now I hope it's not only hard plastic.
  11. Where are the pics?
  12. Hey GM, will you offer nav system soon in your cars? I think you're a little late to the game...
  13. Best: Solstice Worst: Malibu Bland: Cobalt sedan
  14. Wow, orders are now up to 15K! Good.
  15. I like this idea better than adding a turbo.
  16. Anyone knows if they're selling well?
  17. I saw my first H3, it looks very good. And yes, I find the 06 Malibu a lot better with the new front end.
  18. Inventory is probably very low. GM said sales of the new Impala are good and those of the G6 coupe are brisk. Classic is gone so it takes a lot more Malibu.
  19. At least, it is a good sign when several plants are working overtime.
  20. I don't see much differences with the current one. I hope they did it right.
  21. Ok, it's true, I don't like Honda, but the sedan is really bad looking.
  22. I'm not sure GM has the money to to it right now. There is so many products that need an upgrade.
  23. I stopped at the local dealer yesterday, they have only one in stock. I asked my rep about it and he told me it was sold. Then he told me there was three more coming in and they were sold too. He added that a large company are testing one and if they like it, they will order 20. This is CRAZY!! Lutz was right with 100K unit a year. :) :)
  24. Dumb question but have you changed the spark plugs?
  25. First prediction was 100K units a year ( probably Lutz's number), then it was brought down to 50K units a year. I think it will be close to the first prediction. :) Second month was close to 6K units with extremely short supply and no advertisement.
