  1. Nope this was a car. Isaid GM so it may not be a Chevy.
  2. What RWD car was used to test out possibilities for a mid to late 80s GM vehicle to have a V12 sitting in it? I will provide pics afterwards. It is indeed a neat vehicle.
  3. I didn't go to the Ferrari dealer but I did got to some others. I will sum up my experiences. Jaguar/Aston Martin: When we walked in they greeted us and they offer you a drink such as their own special water or coffee. They are very friendly. Bentley: They were yet again very nice and friendly. They even have brochures so I have a pamphlet/ brochure on the Continental Flying Spur which was very nice and I wouldn't mind one. They recognized us from the Detroit Auto Show even and that was 7 or 8 months ago and we dont even live in the country. They let us in the back of the building to see more Bentleys and even a SPYKER C8. That was cool because I had never seen one. I would never drive it though. Rolls Royce: Attached to the Bentley dealer. Noody was even in the dealer. (Both dealers are separate) You could go in it but it was empty with about 2 or 3 Phantoms sitting in the showroom. I guess the salespeople could also be described as phantoms because they never showed up. Lamborghini: Yet again no salespeople. The owner of the lambo dealer was sitting and chatting with the Bentley dealer. The dealer was excellent as were the cars. The dealer even had its own bar and it was no small bar. There were maybe 8 stools all along it with room to spare. I was also going to check out the Ferrari and Porsche dealers but didnt have time. I may check out the Porsche dealer because it is right on Woodward.
  4. I was going to head to some Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, etc. dealers today in the Detroit area. If anyone has been, do they give out brochures or anything? I also don't hope they think I will buy one. Most expensive dealers are in Troy off of Big Beaver Rd. The Ferrari dealer is in West Bloomfield wherever that is! If you know anything about these dealers or any US Ferrari dealer could you tell me? (PS. I feel like a billionaire going to all these dealers!!! LoL!)
  5. I think I may drop by to give the Mailbu a looksy. Funny thing was, yesterday I was wearing my Solstice shirt with a grey Solstice on it and a guy pulled in fast in the same car and almost ran me over. The Solstice has pretty good brakes or at least that one did. We may head down to Woodward later like 7ish or something like that.
  6. Congrats to you C.H.U.D.!!! I really liked your design.
  7. The GM Heritage Center was excellent! So many beautiful cars and a great environment. I have changed my mind. GM could leave this open for GM employees because if it is opened to the public, the cars may get wrecked or ropes may be put around them. There is an amazing amount of cars in there as well. Our Ford Expy felt lonely out in the parking lot. MightyMouse we missed your Malibu. I will post pics on Sunday or whenever.
  8. That does look like the Camry's stereo. Haha. What a coincidence, I guess?
  9. I was going to use the Autonomy as a base because it looks pretty futuristic.
  10. Old Caravans are awesome!!! We had a 92 Caravan SE and it was fast. I am not sure about how fast the Grand Caravans because of the added weight and length. I still remember our van. White exterior with red cloth interior.
  11. I can beat that Fly! Our neighbours bought a Smart car two weeks ago, lol! They are like only half a car. They do have a weird set of cars though. They have an Avalanche, Sequoia, and now a Smart car. Big size difference between the trucks and the Smart car.
  12. I havent started. I am vacationing. This is indeed my weakness though. I can't really draw too much into the future but I will still give it a shot.
  13. It was weird. It was a 4 cylinder model too. My cousin feels embarrassed about it. He wasn't embarassed by his friend beating him in his 81 Camaro.
  14. My cousin was driving us back from a movie in their Taurus when an old lady pulled up beside us in a 98 Camry on the highway. My cousin for fun decided to hit the gas to try to pass her a bit and see if she would race. Then she nails her gas and she flew by us like we were standing still and we were doing 80. In a couple minutes we couldn't even see her. Funny thing was both cars had handicapped license plates.
  15. I saw Talladega Nights yesterday. It was hilarious. I loved the part when he stuck the knife in his leg so they tried to pry it out with another knife.
  16. Pretty much because there is only one location for it. Check around for any specialty stores that may sell automobilia.
  17. I am looking forward to going. If it starts at 5 we may be a little late depending on when we leave the hotel. If there are any roads to avoid to get there from Auburn Hills could you let me know or does most traffic go the other way?
  18. YJ, Wal-Marts don't usually sell them. The only store I know of is Car Buffs in Square One in Mississauga (Toronto). It is a pretty good store except for the prices.
  19. My little cousin got an H1 toy while on our road trip. HUMMERs are tough, ya right. He destroyed that thing in about 10 minutes. Funny thing is it got ran over after he dropped it in the parking lot by a Toyota, lol.
  20. I am now online from just outside of Moncton, New Brunswick. The house is beautiful. On the waterfront and the neighbour has a fully restored 63 Impala. I was in Quebec City yesterday. It was dreadful. Too many one way streets and our Tahoe got stuck in the parking garage. I am off to Halifax tomorrow and then Glace Bay on Thursday. BTW, Our 2004 Tahoe 2WD got 692 kms on one tank of gas. My relatives Windstar also got transmission problems. What a surprise. First ours, then our relatives in Glace Bay and now them.
  21. Here are my entries. Grand National Allure
  22. The stretch between Montreal and Quebec City has nothing. It is a 3 hour drive as well between them.
  23. I am not driving but my mom is. I don't have my licence plus I couldn't handle the 24-hour drive. We are going to have quite a bit more kms on the Tahoe.
