  1. I'll go back and check it out again. He is driving it as a daily driver right now and he says it runs perfectly. He fired it up for us as well. It sounded well. I'll check if they have a build sheet. I'll see if I can get some pics. (I just did a little research and it said that the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission came with the 327 but only on Impala SS and Caprice models. It was a $226.45 option.) BTW, this dealer sells to the US. I'll get some pictures for you guys. Last year they had a turquoise 1960 Impala SS and it was all original and it sold to somebody in Michigan.
  2. The car is an American car. Everything is stock except for the cassette player. The original papers show that it has the original engine and transmission. The car is a factory SS. It has no rust as far as I could see. There was probably rust on the undercarriage but that's about it. The guy who owns the dealer replaced somethings on the car because they weren't original. He bought original wiper blades, new antenna, they put a new water pump in. Everything is original except for the cassette player. The air conditioner still even blows cold air. I saw it in person. The motor is in great condition as well. I believe it was a 3 speed but I'm not 100% sure. I know it was a Turbo 400 though. The car came from Iowa. The guy who owns the dealer knows his stuff. He was telling us that the Turbo 400 was a rare option with the 327. The car is a factory SS though. He was telling us about how the 400 was paired with the 396. The owner also has classic cars himself. He has 6 classic GM vehicles. He has three 57 Bel Airs, one 58 Pontiac, and a 53 pickup. He also has a custom Model T.
  3. Most kids get a kick out of WAZZZZZUPPPP now. My 6 year old a 4 year old cousins love them and repeat them. I also like those commercials as well. I loved the one from last year or the year before had them saying it in different languages.
  4. Oh sorry it was a 134,000 mile car. The odometer rolled over so it says 34000 at the moment.
  5. There is a 1967 Impala SS fastback sitting at Orangeville Motors. We took a look at it and it is nice. It is a Southern Car and it has 134 miles on it. It has everything original. It is numbers matching. It has the Vinyl top. Disc brakes, Rallye Wheels which was the first year for them. It even has the redline tires. It has bucket seats, a tach and gauge package and shoulder belts. It is also an air conditioned car from the factory. It has the 327 motors with the Turbo 400 auto trans. It is in very good condition and runs well. It is seliling for $16,500 CAN. Would this car be a good investment since it has all the rare options and will it appreciate much in value in coming years?
  6. Do the 1988-up Regals 2-doors last awhile? I know its FWD and everything but there is one sitting at Orangeville Motors behind some trees. I saw it but never asked how much. It looks in alright shape. I just dont know how reliable they are. If it is the right price and reliable I may just pick it up.
  7. I love the 80s Grand AM ad and the Fiero ad. I always wanted an 80s Grand AM but I will never get one. I can never find one in good condition.
  8. 4 - Got to vote for the OPP!!! Love it. I hope I dont see one on the highway!!! 5 1
  9. We have a lot of Canadian Tire money sitting around as well. We never use it though.
  10. Ok. Do they let you go in at the open campus even if you're in Grade 11? I'll have to go see what I'll have to work on. I always doubt myself when I complete something. Everybody tells me they're good but I am getting tired of that. I would like them to critique them instead of just say they're good. I have had maybe 2 people tell me what they really meant other than on C&G. Because of that I feel like I wont get accepted in because I will have something wrong.
  11. Good luck, Mute! I hope I didnt have anything to do with it. Sorry to hear that you're leaving us.
  12. Ok thanks. I kind of thought it could work but I wanted to be positive. We dont have many Saturns around my town.
  13. I want to recommend the Saturn Aura to my grandparents but there isn't a Saturn dealer near them. They do have a Chevrolet ans well as Pontiac, Buick, GMC. Can the Aura be serviced at those dealers since it shares similar parts of other GM cars.
  14. Nickelback/ Default. I hate Pink's music, I hate the colour pink. One question though. Who is Jewel? I have never heard of them before.
  15. We have had sunroofs in many cars. My moms 85 Laser XE, 85 Bronco II, 99 Concorde LXi, 99 Ford Windstar and our two vehicles now, our 2004 Tahoe LT, and our 2003 Expedition EB. We have had no problems in any of these cars with sunroofs. No leaking, no problems with how it worked.
  16. I would like to see this. I am not 100% with the idea but just see what it brings. It may turn out great but all I can hope is that it doesn't look like an Uplander or Relay or SV6. Those things were ugly and many people thought so as well. GM shouldn't try to crossover a minivan with an SUV. That is a crossover's job. The minivan should look good but more like a normal minivan. I really think Pontiac should bring back the sporty Montana as it was before the SV6. If you drive into my town, you don't see Uplanders, SV6s, Ventures, you see the old sporty Montana. I know many people who wanted to buy a new one but then they saw what had replaced their van, many said it was awful. I counted the number of Montanas in my neighbourhood. There are about 15 or more Montanas in my neighbourhood. This should tell GM that they had a great seller on their hands. It was sporty, conventional, big enough for those who wanted a sporty car but had a bigger family, and it was also very affordable. Toyota also used this similarily in their ad campaigns in 2004, they stated some like, a car that seats 7, 260 hp minivan?, and they used things to show its sportiness and capability. They sold like crazy here as well. It may be the Toyota brand name but I think this is a great formula to work with.
  17. Daimler was owned by Jaguar. The year is very hard to find since its a one off. It is owned now by the Crainville Coachbuilding Company. There are also two Daimler companies as well. The British Daimler Car Company and the German one associated with Mercedes Benz. Daimler was bought by Jaguar in 1960 and were formed under the British Leyland Motor Company. They went their separate ways in 1982 but when Ford bought Jaguar in 1989, htey had the right to use the Daimler name. They produced some cars based on Jaguars until 2002 when the new XJ came out. Jaguar used the Super 8 name for its Jaguar models and one 2002 Daimler Super 8 was built for The Queen. Daimler was then revived in 2005 after being gone for 3 years.
  18. V12 Daimler Duesenberg 1936 Avions Voisin
  19. My favourite car there was probably that Caprice V12. Thanks for pointing it out. That SSR clay model was also interesting. The Mako Shark and LeSabre were absolutely stunning. I have had a model of the Mako Shark since I was 5 and I never thought I would see it in person. There were also cars that were a little odd to me. They were in mint cond. but there was a Pontiac 6000, Cadillac Cimarron, Buick Roadmaster Wagon, and a Cutlass I believe it was. It was a little Oldsmobile. I had never seen a mint cond. Pont. 6000 in my life. My grandparents had one but when the two tone started fading on the cladding, my grandpa decided to spraypaint it to hide that. He denied it but we all knew it was spraypainted because when we went over later that day the car was dripping baby blue paint on the driveway. The two tone was dark blue and a light blue on the cladding. Boy it was aweful.
  20. Up in our area we get a lot of salt and sand on our roads in winter so that may contribute quite a bit to the rust issues.
  21. Get Paris a Bentley and a burger and she'll be pleased as will most of your neighbours lol.
  22. There are many Sunbirds around my area. They are usually beaters but if you take a look at the mileage, they last quite a while. Our neighbour's daughters car is a 93 and it has 365,000 kilometres on it. It does have a lot of rust unfortunately.
  23. Astra was brought out a year before that album by Holden as I recall. Maybe the album copied Astra's name. Just kidding. Those guys teeth are aweful but remind me of Austin Powers lol.
  24. Toss Enzl's! It is too long and I dont even know where it came from or refers too.
