C&G Designer's Guild.

That doesn't matter BV. Just join anyways. You are a great designer and should be here. Your sig would only be touched if requested. -
I have decided to make a Tight Whips sort of club thing. This time it is for any designers or photchoppers. I can make you a little sig saying that you are a member as well. You can use or current sig but even better would be if you could find a preliminary sketch of any car or even your own sketch or photochop and use that if you wish. This will be the official list....1. American_Revolution_2005Just copy and paste the list before you and add the number and username. We'll see what we can do from there on. Got any suggestions for anything such as maybe a suggestion forum or whatever. We'll see what we can do and see if the admins approve. ANy suggestions are welcome.

I love Weird Al's songs. They are also funny and amusing. Finally he decided to come back and make fun of "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire. This one is White and Nerdy!!!! I love that he has a Prius in the video and a Segway lol. This is great. Also note, the 2 guys in the first part of the movie are currently part of MAD TVs cast if you recognize them. The video can be seen here. Enjoy!!!! White and Nerdy - Weird Al

So now your better than us BV???? Just kidding. I love your designs though. You need to put more designs up. You have excellent ideas.

This is in production as the Chevrolet Cruze isnt it? In China or Japan. It looks very similar to this.

Thats a deal if nothing is wrong with it. Usually they are like 9 grand.

The Chrysler Aspen is really nice. Great for the money too. A limited 4x4 with DVD, Nav., Heated second row seats and sunroof came in at about $54k CAN. You can barely even get a base Tahoe for that money.

You know you grew up in the 90s when...
american_revolution_2005 replied to mustang84's topic in The Lounge
Haha I remember most of those. My mom has a pair of old LA Gear sneakers. I never knew they were big or popular. They look like crap. I never had a pair of rollerblades though and I have tried them. Lets just say that there is a reason I never had them lol. I remember boom-boxes. I never had one though, the first one I got was a CD player in 2000 lol. I missed a whole decade of music. BTW, you know you were a 90s kid if you listened to the boy bands or the Hamsterdance haha. -
That is horrid. Its even more embarrasing than a VW or Smart car except for the forfun2.

The problem with the Chevy Mall and etc. is that I dont buy online but I would like to. I also dont know if they ship to Canada. I am not American, yet. I will probably end up being a dual citizen like my uncle but oh well. I'll PM you an address later DetroitNut90. Thanks.
-
I have to keep it not pricey. I have some Dodge badges. If anybody has some extra badges or anything could you tell me. Any of the Big 3 is perfect. No Japanese allowed. DetroitNut90 that would be great. If anybody else has anything laying around not in use or will never come in use then please tell me. Thanks for the tips. I like that table but all those are still too expensive. I want to go to a Junkyard for a reason, cheap parts. I have a wall clock that I will use. NASCAR lamp. I have 3 car calendars in my room alone as well as one car calendar in my bathroom, ran out of space. I will probably get a desk. Anybody remember how they made that desk on Extreme Makeove:HE? It was built by 2005 Mustang parts and it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. It was the parts from the rear quarter and rear I believe. They got to take parts from the Mustang plant. I want a drafting table though to do my drawings. I will probably just get one of those.

My mom is going to move out and we get to keep our house so I want to turn the room that was once promised for me but taken by my aunt and then my mom. I FINALLY get my 2nd room back. This time I want to make it fun. I want to make it have a nostagic look with Hubcaps, etc. Any ideas on what I should use or anyone recommend anyhting or have anyhting laying around. I am already planning a trip to the wrecking yard to find a bench seat to convert into a sofa. I also want to find old license plates. I have some posters to put up as well as car models. I will have a Mopar wall, GM wall and a Ford wall. I tried that in my room and it didnt quite work. Any ideas or what colour would look good because the room is kind of icky now. It is two tone and I dont like it. I also plan to get more tin signs. I have a Mustang one and a Dodge HWY sign. Most of my stuff is Mopar so I need to pick up on the GM stuff. I regret not buying many GM memorablilia but I plan too. ANy ideas or suggestions? The room is 13 by 12 ft so I have quite a bit of room to work with. Any suggestions are welcome!

With a Corvair it probably would be restored but the Chevelle was a low-optioned car with a 6cyl I believe.

I would like more info too. We could end up with a new project car for our school shop. We have an 86 Mustang going Pro Street with a rebuilt 351 Windsor. A 300C with 240k, donated by Chrysler, its a practice car, originally a pilot. We also had a 1968 Chevelle rebuilt with a 454 and we made it ready for prostreet. That is long gone. Sold 5 years ago. The 86 Mustang will be up for sale. It has an 87 front clip as well but is a notchback. A Corvair sounds like a good project car to restore or go pro street with a different engine if possible. Albany isn't too far as well so it could be arranged to be picked up even.

Here is my first sketch. The way the vents should be are a little of because of perspective issues. Sorry. The top of the dash, similar to the Riviera is two pieces, they both swoop down to blend in to the shape of the vents. I also did the engraved gauges idea similar to the Riviera using the speedo you had. There is also a little groove in the drivers side panel to go on the dash that would fit your guage that was on the dash perfectly. I had inspiration from the Solstice as well, hence the grab bar and kind of the overall shape. I ditched the bowtie idea I had because it just didn't work but I filled an empty boring space with a bowtie emblem that you could easily buy or take off a Chevy. Here it is, hope you like it.
-
I have one almost done but I am going to do more today. I incorporated the Chevy bowtie into the design like the Pontiac Banshee I did for GM 2037. It is much bigger though. BTW what colours would you prefer or should I just keep it a B&W sketch?

Stay off the big exhaust though. Nobody needs a rice can. I saw an Integra at school and the exhaust pipe was huge. It was an early 90s Integra. The exhaust tip was so big, my anti-ricer auto shop teacher stuck his shoe in it to see if it could fit. It turned out his steel-toed shoes fit in the exhaust tip. Dont ask me why he did it but it was a customers car at our auto shop. SO they dont know about that incident.

We are not considered America's hat! Maybe more of a pimp hat. Greenland can be the feather or Alaska. A pimp hat is not complete without a feather. We keep North America cool lol with our cold climate. Sorry I just had to say that. Canada is no ordinary hat.

I'm in. When should it be done by. I have an excellent idea. There should be air outlets right in the center stack or on the sides? This sounds cool. I have never drawn an interior for anyone. This will be a first.

I'm seeing it too. Its quite annoying!!! One reason I hate anime. Why do people hack or whatever? It's senseless, disruptive, and just plain troublemaking. Its probably somebody with no life. -
The Smoking Crowd - at work or school
american_revolution_2005 replied to trinacriabob's topic in The Lounge
At my high school there is a whole smoker's area. It is quite large and about 1 quarter of the school goes there after school or during lunch. They are mostly kids with dramatic situations or people who do generally worse in school. Some also fall into peer pressure. I have walked through it because it is placed badly so it is the only way to get to the buses from our school unless i would have to walk around the teacher parking lot which is fenced in. I usually try to avoid that area. I never have smoked and never will. -
I am a winter lover mainly because I have to wait for my birthday all year until December. I love having a winter birthday but not always a December one. Still about 3 more months until I can drive but I will probably take the Expedition out or the Tahoe.

Here are the Silverado pics from the Canadian pamphlet. This is from the Barrie Auto Show this weekend. I also have the NG Sierra posted in the GMC section.
