Crappy news
Thanks everyone. It's been a horrible week. For once I'm at a loss for words. Also, a close friend (ex-roomie Izabella) had a stroke. She's 35 y.o. and now her life hangs on modern medecine.

Red is cool, white/green is alright but orange/blue/white is the best.

Crappy news
Yeah... so I've been a bit MIA recently. Julie had a miscarriage friday morning. It was just about 20 weeks into the pregnancy. She's okay physically but there's some healing ahead. Not looking to have a huge discusssion or anything but I thought I had to update you guys at some point so here it is. Sux, life goes on.

That's the LAST time that Porsche Boxter underestimates the power of the Buick 3800.

Transmission trivia!
Yeah.... my '59 Buicks's twin-turbine Dynaflow trans is a CVT by mechanical definition, even though it was already "old" by the time it was redesigned for '59. The tripple-turbine is more sophisticated still, but it was not available with the 364 nailhead in the LeSabre but limited in Invicta models & standard in E225s.

Zetas + Cangaroo = This one is quite interesting. I'm not a big Ferrari fan, but when I was as a kid the F40 was my favorite modern Ferrari.

Hey all you El Camino fans...
Love the flower car... very cool. (too bad its FWD) Either way the '70 ElCamino is sharp. I saw a '70 the other day myself. Looked like a daily driver/beater. About 80% of the faded, scuffed and peeling original blue metallic paint was complemented by a few spots of rustoleum/primer. It sounded like a powerfull pushrod V8 was more than enough to make up for the lack of cosmetics.

What the F-bomb?!?
Not a 1980... probably a 1978. YD is right, as craptastic as this is at least the ass end can benefit from a wing, unlike the FWD $h!box rice we see them on usually.

2009 Pontiac Vibe GT
Booooring. Nice Nissan headlights though. I agree. No sense in sleeping with the enemy.

college...
I was a royal idiot when I was in college. I dated the same girl all four years. Oh well, at least I didn't catch the 'HIV or crabs.

Throwing debris off bridges
I remember when back in the mid 1990s that scumbag lowlife in california threw a bowling ball off an overpass & it killed a baby in the backseat of a car after it bounced off an 18-wheeler & smashed through a windshield. If that was me and I lost my child like that in a senseless & voilent way I'd make that dirtbag wish he was never born. What's the matter with kids today? Everything is a freekin joke. It's like there;s no concept of consequences or morals. These kids should get jail time at the very least.

A 'new' Consumer Reports?
Weird. Seems pretty complicated and full of variables. Esp. for a newspaper like U.S. News.
