  1. I'm talking about the EB110, not the Veyron.
  2. You can't squeeze blood from a stone. I lost an Equinox sale to a Rav4 the other day... the girl was a CR brainwash subject, in the end she bought the smaller, uglier Toyota only because "it's a Toyota" another $250 would not have helped.
  3. As compared to a 1970 Mustang in Grabber Blue the Cobalt has TONS of depth! It's all relative. How come a super-exotic quad-turbo V12 Bugatti gets non-metalic blue, huh?
  4. Halo vehicle for GMC? Where the heck have you been, it's called the Yukon Denali. THAT is their Halo vehicle, they're a TRUCK brand. It's bad rnough they got their first non-BOF vehicle this year and their first transverse mounted motor in the Acadia, two things GMC should have never been given since they're a professional TRUCK brand, but now you want their halo truck to be a plus sized Subaru Brat? (I love the UTE but it IS what it is, not a BOF truck)
  5. Also: why rule out V8s when there's a bunch fo V8 powered cars out there that will come close to your old Monte Carlos' MPG with one... like the new 5.3 Monte Carlos.
  6. As ugly as the 0.01% redesign made it and as hard as it is to find one without a padded roof & other pukarific items, there's still the Mercury Grand Marquis. May not be an awsome car but it's affordable & RWD.
  7. Dude, I do't know how you're getting 17 in that rental Cobalt but your results are NOT typical of an average 2.2 ecotech powered Cobalt. My mother gets high-20s consistantly with a good portion of her driving being in rush hour traffic on rt.495 and back roads around Haverhill. She also has the automatic by the way.... so I'm going to make an educated guess and say with the 5-speed manual in the base Cobat if you drive conservatively you might average 30 plus MPG. You've probably been using your AC 24/7 with this heat wave, can't blame you for that, your car is a RENTAL so god knows how much abuse it's been through and to make matters worse you're using it for local Pizza delivery which is the EPITOME of city "stop-n-go" driving. Do you shut your car off when you're walking up to a customer's door with their delivery? Cause in that time you're getting exactly ZERO mpg.
  8. You're right about that... hell I think they shuld make you take a separate driving course for SUVs and big pickups. Maybe anything over 4000lbs. & with an off road stance. There's way too many dumb retards driving trucks as if they were SCCA-ready Z06s.
  9. Holy Cow! Sorry to hear that. Thank god you're still with us. The Charger, 300 & CTS would all be a nice step-up from your departed Monte. That being said the G8 is the one I'd get if time/$ was on my side.
  10. 265-Chevy: Your artistic shot made me instantly think of this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RvTjHitaHIg --------
  11. Porsche Racing.... and crashing. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/EEC0878...1596F40A1C5.htm
  12. Uhhh.... Impala, Silverado, HHR, Equinox, Cobalt & Colorado
  13. In a sea of silver, platinum, tan, champagne, beige, gold, pewter & refrigerator white I for one welcome ANY color that adds variety be it "gay" of flat or depth-less.... now as far as you BV, I'm not sure why you have such a god damn bee in your bonnet?
  14. When I say would possibly overlook an annoyning & non-purist feature like a transverse mounted motor and FWD-biased-AWD for LOOKS, in other words styling SO good that I might buy what I other-wise despise in terms of mechanicals & chassis layout, well then you know the vehicle in question is drop dead gorgeous.
  15. Hopefuly MORE water will get in than what ruined Miss Belvedere. http://thegarageblog.com/garage/miss-belvedere-on-display/ Even some POS Ford (Big Foot) would decimate any Tundra. Ewww... it's true though. Agreed. But first load up the beds with Asbestos.
  16. Just when I was about to say it's not the worst looking Toyota I noticed the $38K price tag! I almost crapped my pants. $38,962? Are you kidding me? For what is essentially a Camry station wagon!? 17/23 mpg? What is this thing BOF & V8 powered? BV: you and your "soft-touch" plastic!
  17. Since we're on the topic, I love that new Hybrid emblem, very snazzy. It looks more upscale and refined than the Toyopet "~H"
  18. Merging of websites? NO!!! Bad idea, that sends the wrong message.
  19. WTF? This is ratarded. Here's a freekin' idea: Instead of making the Camaro how about we make a Zeta Buick version instead to test the maket for a 2-door hardtop muscle car with a V8 and manual trans. We'll call it a Special Ed. (short for Special Edition) and it will have all the performance of the Camaro and similar looks... BUT if it does not sell well then that means the 5th gen. Camaro is doomed and we'll just forget the whole thing. Makes perfect sense, right?
  20. Happy Birthday! Seriously get that silly Honda Integra out of the way of that snazzy Z-tech powererd, close-ratio 5-speed shifted shaggin' wagon. I hear those roof racks were designed to be super high-performance and as such add MAD downforce to the rear end for extra drifting skillz and latteral stability around the chicanes.
