  1. Thank God I live in the USA where a semi-exotic Corvette only costs $50K and for an additional $30 you can buy a Z06 which is a FULL blown exotic. Alfa Romeo can stay in Europe at those prices.
  2. Yeah, I heard about that. When SP and I got down to Berwyn and realized we were close I threw in some premium at a convenience store/ gas station (three gallons IIRC) but then I guess we did end up driving for another 20 minutes in circles. Between getting lost about three times on 76, 276, 476, 202 & 252 we must have burned off those few gallons. --- I just got of the phone with FlyBrain who said the trip down to the Sunshine State went well and the LeSabre is safe at its new home. Now as far as the photos I took on Tuesday when we dropped off the car at Caminos, here's a few interesting ones: In the middle of Connecticut off I-84, just before midnight. On the road somewhere in New Jersey... SpeedingPenguin wanted me to take some photos of the Shelby Turbo in motion. The LeSabre turned 74,444 so I decided to take a photo. Safe & sound. I backed the large barge into Camino's garage at about 6:45am. And finally the handoff of the keys: (Camino on the left, me on the right)
  3. BOF, 4x4 Milenia? YES PLEASE!
  4. Agreed, Camino. Around here (and this poll backs me up on this ) there are 30 ricers and 50 horrible toyota "drivers" to every one kid in a 5.0 Mustang or IROC-Z that causes mischief.
  5. It's a hardtop so that's good. I do NOT beleive hybrids are the future, more of a marketing ploy.... at least def. not crap like the Prius. Diesels on the other hand will pay a role.
  6. Redline tires would be even cooler, one of the guys at work has a blk/blk/blk 2002 Camaro Z28 ragtop with redlines.
  7. Colt .45
  8. I just think that maybe you were not hugged as a child. One of my best friends is a South Korean.... and he despises Japanese cars too!!! Seriously how can you dislike Camaros more than ricers?
  9. I'd take it over the Mazda too.... it is what it is but does not put on heirs. Looks like a fun, easy to work on project. I'd love to see a unibody car/truck that's as easy to work on in terms of rust repair.
  10. But that's a separate issue, that;s just the way it is. GMC has always lived in the shaddow of Chevrolet. GMC is a nicer, more heavily optioned truck with (often times) nicer styling.
  11. B-pillar I was refering to the CL600. You know, it's a damn shame we (GM) do not make a car to directly compete with this.
  12. All I saying is if I was LOADED, like William Gates loaded I'd have six or seven, kids, why not? All those poor retards with the inability to feed two mouths nevermind tripple that have a ton of kids out of stupidity & ignorance, but if you can support that many children and educate them then god bless. I hated being an only child, never wanted Sofia to be an only child. now as far as the super-religious crap, I agree with you guys.
  13. i NEED A COLD SHOWER.
  14. zero-p-pillars 1:6 ratio (turbos to cylinders) 0-60 in 4.5 rear axle: 2.65:1
  15. Funny how if they can't say "We beat Chevy" they just spindoctor it into "We beat GMC" well so does Ford, Dodge & quite possibly Nissan.
  16. So take it out on his car? WTF?! I think its funy that you bought a new Fusion and you think 3rd gen. F-bodys are junk. Your tase in cars preplexes me, I'd never wish an F-body harm for no good reason. It's a car, you're holding a personal grudge against a CAR. If you're going to pick on a subculture let's get real, your typical Honda/Toyota/VW drivers are the ones that drive like pricks & deuchebags with theior little riced out garbage-for-brains modifications and day-glo special ricer-econoboxes. Oh and BTW: you come off as pretty racist.
  17. The Valiant is a '65, the middle one is a LaSalle.
  18. Love the Rampage with whitewalls. MM: it's cool you made the news but it sucks its for bad news.
  19. That disclaimer speaks VOLUMES! Pay premium ---> get crappy product. NO THANKS! Agreed! It would take SOME of the sting of getting screwed on an overpriced product if it at least looked like sex on wheels... moderns Ferraris look Korean.
  20. I'm pretty sure Fly will not have any buyers remorse. After all is said and done can you beleive that the kid who owned that Buick spent like 4 months trying to get $1000 for that car...? I think the biggest reason that no one bought it was because they couldn't find his damn house, it was nestled between a culdesack & a cemetary in Fishing town in Massachusetts, about 3 miles away from Rockport Harbour & just down the street from Glouster.
  21. At Hampton/Salisbury Beaches last night: - 1955 Chevy two-door sedan hot rod, burgundy/white - 1937 Chevrolet 4dr plainted cream/red with PT cruiser tail lights. (travesty) - 1996 Dodge Viper GTS - 1968 Buick 2-dr hardtop (flat gray) - 1973 Chevrolet Impala ragtop - 1965/6 Mustang ragtop - some POS mid-1970s Triumph - 1968 Dodge Charger - 1973 Pontiac Firebird Esprit (in what looked like Buick Saturn Yellow) with the loudest rumbling exhaust EVAR! - 1994-6 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in burgundy, MINT.
  22. Hey God bless 'em, it's a free country. I didn't read that they were on welfare so what's the beef?
  23. fuel
  24. Wow... that sux. Sorry to hear that. If a neon hit the '71 Cadilllac I'm pretty sure that the Dodge would become undrivable before the Cadillac would be dented significantly. Since the car is rotted it would almost be worth it. Best of lusk with your Aura, do you have rental insurance?
  25. Satty: Never understand you... why would you get joy from his car being destroyed...? wft do you have against f-bodys?
