  1. Great job... some very nice clips. Except one MAJOR complaint. ONE pre-war car versus like 12 shots of a W-body GP-GTP? Not even one 1959? 1950. You missed some of the most unique ones of them all.
  2. As and as things are economically there's plenty of local police departments around here getting HEMI Chargers to replace their Crown Victoria Interceptors. Think about it, who pays for the cruisers and gas to the tune of 10, 15, 18 or whatever MPG... taxpayers! AND In two or three hours a cop can write tickets for THOUSAND$. They're ticketing people here like there's no tomorrow. Another sign of the impending NWO.
  3. It looks a bit Fisher Price.... I wanna love it but the (GTO-Honden) '70 Chevelle hack-job comes to mind....
  4. Sounds like a good plan!
  5. Anyone else? Beauler.... Beauler.... Beuler....
  6. Must be a slow news day....
  7. For once 'm not even aware of half of these pissing contests that are going on. I've got limited time to f**k off online & all I know is that certain members here are not here for the cars. If you're not here too contribute to C&G but are constantly baiting fight or just wasting everyone's time with utter stupidity than I lose patience w you after while.
  8. HUh? I think it's the Cavalier/Sunfire that are LESS of a rebadge. At least they're both 100% GMs. A Toyota Motor & mechanical guts in a GEO body are not "less of a rebadge" than a Pontiac wearing completely different skin than a Chevy. Either way, we're splicing atoms. Pontiac died years ago. There were a few great products that gave us false hope, like the 4th gen. Firebird/Trans Am Holden-GTO & most recently the awesome & death deifying Zeta G8-GT which will go don in history as one of the best cars to ever wear the arrowhead. It's just too bad that GM sucks at life so damn much. Pontiac is being killed of in vein, a good solid product lineup would sell like hotcakes, as it is though they can not even outsell lame turd-buckets like Scion.
  9. If Matchbox made one I missed it and have never seen it. That would shock me... esp. since I've got hundreds of Matchbox cars. not as many as my Hot Wheels but still a LOT!
  10. Yup. You're much better versed than most though. I bet about 99.45% of Americans would not have a clue.
  11. You're a complete tool. "Pontiac circle-jerk"? f@#k YOU! Why don;t YOU leave this forum and start posting on "Prius Drivers Who TROLL on GM forums (.com)" Vulgar humor is annoying as f@#k when that is all you spew. Your posts just come off like pure disgusting, perverse, juvenile idiocy. Gawd, I never thought I'd know a GUY who is more sarcastic & more of a bitch than my wife is during her visit from "Aunt Flo" Sorry some of us are "circle-jerking" about Pontiac you f@#k-stick, If you could actually discuss CARS for once instead of just acting like a $h!head juvenile delinquent spewing insults, innuendos & nasty digs at fellow members, you might notice that ANOTHER part of Americana is being put to death at the Guillotine... or perhaps at the "Catherine wheel" More American history, legacy & prosperity is being flushed down the toilet. But you just go right ahead & keep posting about your usual hobbies: Mullet Envy, sodomy, incest & circle jerks...
  12. Although this last one is far from "stock" it has NOT had its roof chopped.
  13. I'm still uncertain about his legacy. He certainly designed a few awkward &/or uhhhh-gleee BMWs but then again some of them have grown on me. I know he quit BMW, but isn't he now consulting, or he has his own design house or something... And wasn't Bangle from the USA? Midwest IIRC?
  14. Sorry Dodgefan... I'm with O.B. on this one. I too hope with all my heart & soul that Chrysler, GM & Ford all survive, rebuild and someday thrive again. It still breaks my heart that Oldsmobile and Plymouth have died in "recent" times. Imperial & AMC were killed off in my youth. Add that to the demise of Packard, LaSalle, Studebaker, Duesenberg/Cord/Auburn, Pierce Arrow, Marmon, Peerless, Franklin, Duryea, Stutz, Hudson, Stanley Steamer, Locomobile, Nash, Rambler, Hupmobile, Baker Electric, REO, Essex, Thomas... I could go on long enough to crash the forum.
  15. Hahahah! Everyone laugh at 68 being a poor blue-collar worker with limited funds. I'll def. own one someday. And the catalytic converters will go MIA.
  16. Prediction: 2019 A.D. General Motors CEO "It would have been LESS costly to keep making Pontiacs at a loss than it was to kill the brand over the past few years." Those who do not learn from their mistakes... Oldsmobile comes to mind.
  17. THAT bad Camino? Well when GM wants to they make a fine manual trans. Maybe someday I'll have SBC power in my Benz, shifted through an M22 or T10. Four on the floor FTW.
  18. A truck with Cummins Turbo-Diesel power, 3 pedals and six manually selected gears!!! Eff you GM for your "no one wants a manual any more bulls*it"
  19. 1982 M.B. 300D turbo-diesel sedan. Automatic Same model years as the old 240D we owned/sold a year+ ago. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9220365@N06/3483835346/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/9220365@N06/3...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/9220365@N06/3...in/photostream/ (I know.... I need to update my sig.)
  20. As usual, the mint green cab-forward car with the mid-engined/3-passenger layoutis the one that stump almost everyone. I love this car because it was one of the first cars I fell in love with as a kid. Years before I ever knew what a Chevy, Cadillac or GM were. My dad had a "WhizzWheels" 1:64 toy replica of this fascinating concept. I still have it to this day, with an awesome patina & half it's paint worn off. Turns out it was powered by Chevrolet 327, and it's styling was ahead of it's time enough where you guys all assumed it was a lot newer then it really is. Another awesome feature of this car is the way it foreshadowed the 1993 McLaren F1 exotic road car. WMJ: You're right about the Alfa Romeo Bat Eleven. BUT No Dodge Brother's product appears in here.
  21. LoL I actually dropped a big sign-up bonus from UPS towards a crap-load of parts over a year ago. I have enough stuff bought & put aside that when family life lets me take a breather I can finally get the nailhead back together I'll have the B-59 in better shape than ever. Two jobs, two young girls, a wife & three German tanks keep me busy.... once the summer gets going I need to get my arse in gear.
  22. Approx. model year +/- 2 years and Manufacturer required.
  23. Oh... Sorry dude, I suck. IIRC, I read your original post at about 3:45am on my way to UPS to load trucks. I must have just burned the "GMC emblem" part into my brain and forgot the Jimmy part. What year Jimmy...? does the one in my pic. match or is it a different year/font?
  24. Hey Dude! Here's a photo of my plunder from the junkyard, let me know whoch would work for you... or if you want them all or whatever. I still owe you one for all that super cool $h! you sent me back in like 2005. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9220365@N06/3...in/photostream/ If you want PM or TEXT me...
