  1. First off I guess the autor of this article wants VolkWagen to apologize AGAIN for its role in WWII again, the KdF was after all the brainchild of Hitler and its development was fueled with nazi propaganda. Second: Henry Ford was a blatant anti-semetic & quite an ignorant guy. If anyone of the big-three would have wanted to align himself politically & in terms of ideology with the third reich it would be him. Third: Even in 1944 we still only heard rumors of the holocaust and all the atrocities commited by the Nazis, back in 1934 no one thought hitler was a REAL threat, let us not forget that the money Hitler needed to build up the nazi party & the third reich was loaned to him by JEWISH BANKERS who thought they'd make money on a crazy but harmless lunatic & dictator. if anyone is to blame for WWII in europe it's them. Fourth: Given the choice between Stalin & Hitler I'm glad we did not contribute to that murdering, paranoid, criminal-turned tyrant's power. I alwayas find it interesting how much we hear of the holocaust but the even more evil Stalin is barely spoken about. how about Pol Pot? Also let's not forget that Mitsubishi Zeros and other war machines made by the same companies (Fugi Heavy indust: Subaru) that are now stuffing Camrys and Eclypses down our throats were the first to ty to destroy & conquer the USA with the attack on Pearl Harbor before Hitler ever made a move against us. Why isn't Toyota & Honda trying to stop the genocide in Darfur right now? What's the REAL political motivation behind this article????
  2. Semi-RWD... I still wish GM had dumped SAAB and kept Subaru.
  3. Zeta version 2.0 due out 2013. For the plus-size zetas. It will be the basis for the new Impala (LS2), GTO (400 horsepower Northstar 5.1L), Chevelle SS (LS7), Skylark (LS8) & Regal Grand National (twin-turbo 3800). The smaller Zeta 1.0 wil underpin the Camaro, Grand Prix & Firebird T/A. Also I have a bridge to sell you in Winslow Arizona. honestly I have NO idea WTH that is.
  4. Looks like an angry Scion tC. A+ for the greenhouse though, is this concept a hardtop? even if it is NOT a hardtop the frameless glass is very elegant. I wish the new CTS had frameless glass, like the pillarless glass on Subaru Legacy sedans for instance. Those blackout panels on the B-pillars of most modern cars look so tacky and ugly to me... if you can't make a hardtop 4dr at least hide the pillars behind tinted glass! http://www.km77.com/marcas/subaru/legacy_02/med/02.jpg
  5. The 1st gen. M45 was elegant and had great proportions, this is just EFFIN UGLY!!!
  6. Still zero bids... nosurprize. There may be 1.5 million $ worth of stuff there... but it will take three years & $700,000 and an army of people to sort/categorize/sell the stuff on eBay and pay out another $150,000 in auction fees. $800,000 is what I think a place like this is worth, honestly. You're buying liability and headaches from the EPA as well.
  7. Here we go again...
  8. Woah.... $82K? Damn, that makes my Super-88 worth $130,000 easy. If I was a millionare I'd buy it for my summer cottage in Scotland.
  9. Even this new one does not LOOK to be BMW 5-series sized...
  10. Kind of goofy. Trying too hard to be a RWD charger & failing pretty bad.
  11. The new Malibu is sort of bizzare but it's a nice alternative to the Accords & Camrys of the world. I'll take bizzare or strange over "WATCHING PAINT DRY MAKES ME TOO EXCITED" cars like the Camry, Taurus, Accord, Ford 500 & Fusion....
  12. I like SOME of the styling... it's actually not bad for a modern day 2000GT. That gawd-awful A-B pillar thing is f@#king horroible. It seems Toyotas are not ugly enough anymore with just a big ugly B-piller they have to ADD a bizzare fixed 1/4 window/forked-A-pillar to everything from the yaris to the Prius and now this. The nose, rear & some of the profile (rear window scoop excluded) I like.
  13. Lucky bastard! I thought this thread was going to be about HBO's Rome which is starting up its 2nd season this upcoming Sunday. Have fun, take more photos.
  14. Wow.... crazy & inspirational at the same time. Take care of yourself Cort. I think Balthazar is trying to say that even wiht the coolant & oil drained you can run WOT for 1.5 hours.
  15. That's not a Lada.. it's a RENAULT "LeCAR" Blame the Frrench!!! I just spit earl gray tea all over my keybaord. :rotflmao:
  16. I'm pretty sure for every ONE award GM "buys" Toyota has a closet full.
  17. I was thrilled to find this out!!! You KNOW I"m busy when I'm MIA long enough to hear about this from a co-worker before I read it here. XP called me up yesterday like "you still alive?" I said sure, just busy and his response was that if I was MIA for even a month, no big deal but if I'm not on C&G in like 3/4 days he gets worried.
  18. "CHEFS" (remember the comercial with the CHIEFS stadium grass....)
  19. This makes the BLS look like a Yaris Sedan!
  20. Ukcfing Awsome! I LOVE IT!!! Now when do we get a 550+ horsepower CTS_V?
  21. Great idea... I have no problem doing that, it's a good idea regardless of global warming or not. As a few have said this crap goes back and forth all the time, every time we have a huge blizzardor it's -23* farenheit here in N.E (Winter of 2002-'03) there's talk of global warming causing more extreeme swings in temprature, percipitation etc. Then there's the other scientists & what not who say we are headed for an ice age... round and round the merry go round we go. And of course population has to do with it as well.
  22. Still ugly, irrelevant & an obvious SAAB rebadge. It's the second coming of the C!marron.
  23. Most people do not (legaly) buy guns out of NECCESSITY, not in the USA anyway I want a firearm for the fun of it, target practice is more fun than anything short of activities involving sex & cars.
  24. Dude, if I owned a ton of firearms I would not NEED PS3... or my PS2 for that matter. Of course even target practice costs money since bullets are not for free.
