  1. Cheesy.... Looks like a CR-V has but sex with a retarded Murano about 9 months ago. That's evolution for ya!
  2. Good... the a$$ of the 300C was it's most boring/poor feature. I bet they give it super-subtle "tail fins" in the tail lights like on the CTS.
  3. I'd never buy one new but it's nice to know it exists. There's no replacement for displacement... except when it's a Z06.
  4. Not a big fan of the styling, but then again it will probably be more retro than that but also a lot more refined and elegant.
  5. K.C. Actually that only makes me more curious. Please DO share! Have you owned any Duesenbergs? How about a Locomobile Barrel bodied roadster?
  6. So buy a nice 1950s or early 1960s survivor... they're a great toy/investment. Or better yet... RESTORE one:
  7. Well... if by that you mean that I go through cars like underwear you would be 100% correct. Dec. of 2005 my fleet consisted of a 1968 Camaro, 1986 Cadillac F.B., 1997 STS, 1984 Datsun & I was the short term semi-partial owner of a 1979 Cadillac. There was an ex-demolition derby '83 Volvo 240 in my back yard and I was also I was also storing XP's 1977 Oldsmobile.... (I'm probably forgeting something) The STS & Datsun are still in my driveway (surprising, esp. the FWD STS) but the Coupe deVille & Fleetwood Brougham are long gone, the Camaro is undergoing a much deserved restoration via a new owner from upstate New York while a 1997 Infiniti & 1964 Oldsmobile provide 90% of my transportation needs. Meantime a 1979 Chevrolet pickup, 1987 Mercury & 1988 full-size Blazer redneck CUCV clone have all come and gone. The Volvo is the only one I junked... the rest are all with loving owners. Well, except for the poor old Blazer that is being molested and cut up by its disrespectful owner.

  9. Zephyr, 1936 Lincoln

  11. Yes... your thory holds true camino but in most cases true classics will never go past a certain point. Inflation aside, something like a '69 Camaro or '64 GTO will always be worth its weight in copper.
  12. As much as I hate Toyota I hope they DO NOT tone it down. This car looks great as is... much better than the last gen. Supra and all the subsequent concepts.
  13. The last Corvette I would say was over rated was the cross-fire powered dissapointment taht is now but a memory.
  14. So Carter is now the oldest living former president, and his only peers are Clinton & Bush Sr.
  15. Someday I'd love a BMW M5 wagon clone or an M3 wagon... on the other hand a CTS-V (LS7 powered) wagon would be even cooler!
  16. Here's a col webite I surfed onto by accident. There's some gorgeous photography of a few nice GM cars! http://www.pbase.com/sandpiper/fins
  17. $5500 and reserve not met... Hmmmm.
  18. Pictures of what? the dent on the Newport's grille/bumper or the Honda Fit that crushes like a empty Budweiser can & bounces 70 feet away into a telephone pole cable and gets ripped in half? How safe can a car like this be? How much "crumple zone" can you engineer into a hood/nose that spans 14"???
  19. No... actaully more like buy a Zo6 and a 1979 VW Rabbit diesel, those suckers get like 70mpg.
  20. I like BAD SANTA's car better... 1969 Impala 4dr hardtop, all four windows always down.
  21. Yes I miss the good old days.... I wish I had been born in the 1920s versus the 1970s. Unibody versus BOF, just like DOHC vs. Pushrod is 90% marketing & 10% b.s. for the record, I say build the wgon too... why not?
  22. Is that how the Camry (with rear door delete) ended up shinny side down?
  23. Have not seen you arond much...
  24. Fly: what's the deadline to pay for the calendar(s)?
  25. She can have a second or evn third chance if you ask me... I would not throw her (or her friends) out of bed.
