  1. F RONT W HEEL D RIVE To a slightly lesser extent: B-pillars in coupes, four cylinder motors & gray plastic bumpers/trim/body cladding (avalanche excluded)
  2. Eh... not bad but nothing revolutionary. It looks like a mild reskin of the 1984 originals, and I'm not exagerating much.
  3. This f***ing thing is street legal but tail fins can not return? Give me a break, I'll just strap on my rollerblades like a big kid.
  4. Compress... (2nd of the 4 strokes)
  5. Wow... now THAT's a Buick nut for ya!
  6. Hmmm... I hope something comes of this, Chaparrals are awsome!
  7. Wow... great post. Your Aurora is looking good too. My first choice would eb the Cadillac, second the Imperial, then the (questionable?) Olds & then the LeSabre. Nothing against the LeSabre though... still a gorgeous car. The Cadillac Fleetwood is a 1967 BTW. 1965-1966 had vertical front lights, not angled... & there is a bunch of other differances that makes the 67-68 better looking to my eyes. XP: I was thiking the same thing, who does a two tone blue/white '55 Olds but leaves everything but the greenhouse white? Fishy.
  8. All things considered, I give it a solid "B" only for the fact that it is not very greoundbreaking in styling or antthing else... it's bold & i like that but it's also a bit too tall and the CHiMSL is lame for 2007. I think in 2007 every car should a LED 3rd brake light (this does not look it...?) and it should be at least about 12" wide... I HATE cheap lights, good lighting is about the most important safety feature and yet it's seemingly just an afterthought on many 2007 cars. Now as far as my own personal (today's car market non-withstanding) this car is FWD, has a transverse mounted motor and it has big, chunky B-pillars so right there it already is a D+ at best... THIS IS A MALIBU 4 door that gets a A+ And for that matter why do we not have a 2dr l;ike bakc in the day... Honda Accord & toyota Camrys both sell in decent #s w/ the rear-door-delete option.
  9. I love glocks... granted that's only based on firing my buddy's 9mm on about a half dozen occassions, still from what I've heard they are great firearms and can be dropped in sand and will stil fire. everyone is so very POLARIZED on the Glock issue. WTF is the deal?
  10. BMW lied! This thing is SOHC.
  11. Or how about this?
  12. G-body four doors from the 80s... sure they're not as cool as the 2-door G-bodys but they're still great RWD, BOF cars that will swallow a 454/B/O/P 455s & what came after was disgusting in comparisson becasue of the FWD & lack of V8 power & the trans- verse mounted motors. XP: Check out the file name of this pic...

  15. Funny stuff. I wish we were getting a Chevelle & a Camaro... and a GTO and Firebird & Grand National & 442, oh wait.
  16. YES, not sure of the specifics but I was enthused/pissed to see it. Seems a lot opf my really ORIGINAL ideas have been done already.... But there's one I still have not seen. P.S. Balthy: How ironic... just yesterday I was talking to my buddy in Arizona saying a 1959 Pontiac would be an acceptable alternative to a 1959 Buick once it's time to say goodbye to the '64.
  17. One of my favorites.
  18. FoG: I'm starting a petition to call them the "PRISS" just like Opie & Anthony. It rolls off the tongue better and it's truth in advertizing. "pr'-ISS"
  19. Very true. If gas is $4.00 a gallon it WILL really HURT my wallet but since it's about the only new car I care to own and modern cars are more efficient than most of the alternatives i'd rather drive I might as wel enjoy my miles in a Camaro and take pleasure in burning off $4.00/gallon gas. Even a piece of $h! econobox FWD four banger costs $18,000 if you get a few luxury items and you still feel like you're a looser driving one if you're used to rolling in V8 powered land yachts & muscle cars. You only live once and I'd rather eat macaroni & cheese but enjoy my cars.
  20. I think the Nassau, Airflite & production Sebring for that matter are all ugly as sin.
  21. On our first date my girlfriend Marcia told me that the coolest car she ever owned was not her 1984 Firebird, or her 1978 Trans Am, but a 1986 Grand Prix with a CBB 454 with two tanks of NOS in the trunk. She had some fun times in it... then she got it impounded after the speeding/drag racing/burnout citations added up and the end result was that she never got enough money together to get it out of the police impound in time. I almost bought a GORGEOUS 99% mint 1986 GP myself a few years back... it has "S10 eXtreme" rims and factory t-tops... burgundy paint and a rebuilt 305. Gorgeous car.
  22. Hmmm.... interesting. Pretty minimalistic for a modern motor. I like the simplicity of the wiring harness... it that IT? Also: why do I only see 20 valves?
  23. I'll put money on the Camaro's interior looking better than that.
  24. THYME
  25. Damn... In thought you took the opportunity to have the Sky sprayed some non-factory exotic color like White-Diamond-TANGERINE-Pearl or perhaps Starburst Blue-Green with Green-Blue ghost racing stripes and cannonball run decals over the doors/trunk.
