  1. T1G#T WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate. ...................................................... Current Score: Fly: 11 WMJ: 10 Balthazar: 9 Yellow_Dart: 9 OldsGuy: 7 Chevelle7.4L: 4 OcnBlu: 3 American_Revolution2005: 1 SmallChevy: 1 79VetteZ06: 1 ---------------------- T1G#T WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA #56 Name these three cars. Aprroximate MY, manufacturer & model.
  2. IIRC the first dual cowl phaeton was a 1912 Locomobile. can someone correct me on this or confirm....?
  3. Oh look it's the bastard child of an Astra and VW Rabbit diesel P/U.
  4. Cool!
  5. Not all taht impressed. Italian designers have not done much new in the past 30 years. These new concepts seem to mer like they're retro or the Bertone & even Pinninfarina stuff from the late '60s to the mid '70s. And the face of this car does not resemble the Camaro, not litterally but perhaps in design direction.
  6. Oh it burns.... it's a DEEP BURN!!!
  7. It's nice to see I am not the only car nerd that calculates MPG/$/milage as methodically as this. Just the other day I found a small manilla envelpe from my 1986 Caddy (remember the silver F.B.?) with every single receipt and piece of paperwork associated with that car. The MPG math was done by me freehand on the back. That car averaged exactly 18.1mpg in the summer of 2005. Those Olds 307s are a bit too little for a car of that massive weight.
  8. I like this one... top to bottom! Even the wheels & tires fit the car (it is from the cheesy 1970s after all) I hate the regual tail ligths and think they're very uninspired so I think overall this is a big improvement. Something about the RR/Bentley beltline makes it very classy.
  9. Lincoln Mk IV
  10. Bland and effin' boring just like the other 95% of new 2007 cars. btw: It's an Audi A4 with Lucerne headlights.
  11. Screw the strip club... get a $5.00 Hooker! ...unless you have an aversion to the hiv' or clap.
  12. I love parallel parking... it's a great way to show off your complete & precise control of a car. And yes, I had to do it to get my MASS driver's license. Parallel parking is like tying a necktie or riding a bike, it takes a wee bit of practice at first and after that you're all set.
  13. I love that Chevrolet SS-S concept soooo much! Damn Sexy 4dr hardtop!
  14. That's an old one but it still resonates with me. Scary stuff. It almost looked at the end as if he was decapitated. Oh yeah... and wear your effin seatbelt dumbass!
  15. I too would muich rather drive that then a RSX, element, Ridgeline or other such HON-DUH produkt...
  16. That photo of the Sunset Orange Z06 is HOT!!! (the car's not bad either)
  17. That's waht you call "Tokyo Ingenuity." I prefer "Yankee Ingenuity" which is something like stuffing an S-10 frame & TPi 350 under a shell of a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero coupe and making it look 100% stock except for the 300 series tires out back.
  18. No exactly the same like that but close... Or the numbers are funny... you know 6.66 gallons or the dollar amount in the Super 88 is $19.64 or some other "coincidence."
  19. I'm against medicating kids 9/10 times. That being said I think That kid needs some meds... Wanna talk abtou a CRAZY coincidence? Those banner adds always have girls from your LOCAL area. Crazy huh?
  20. I apologize in advance for the sexist remark that follows. There is a 97% chance that driver was a woman.
  21. Contrary to popular beleif not al the cars in the back of a dealership are trade-ins. My guess? Some used-car manager with good taste happened to scoop this up for his Nephew at the auction instead of that Eclypse GSX 5-speed he wanted soooo badly.
  22. I need... a cold shower. Damn those pics. of the SS are hot. The only way it could be better was if 6-on-the-floor (full manual) was offered in the USA and a 2 door hardtop (fastback as in 1965) SS were offered. Then I might even rconsider my 09 Camaro plans and just buy that instead.
  23. That last one is a classic.... I can say that I've almost never had a car fall on top of me. Lucky for me I've never stayed under it as it slid off the jack. I had a demolition derby car "fall" off the jack. Well, technically the jack punched through the rusty rocker panel and the car therefore moved down about 6" in 0.25sec.
  24. Ahhh... that makes sense.
  25. Yes, right you are Fly.
