Time travel!
The L series was a great car but it couldn't make up for the craptastic lineup... the Sky & a redesigned VUE will do well for Saturn. If it was up to me... I'd even give Saturn a Zeta car and position it as their flagship to battle the Avalon.

2007 Holden Statesman
BABY - - - - - GOT - - - - - BACK!!! This is a fantastic day for RWD. Hey you hear that? Yeah that sound... it's the sound of Ford motor company crying as they just relised how obsolete the Crown Vic has become. All done, do not pass go do not collect $200. Either the Crown Vic gets redesigned or GM is cleaning house in the cop car & taxi cab market. The 4-spd auto and all the dumbed down basic durrable old school $hit combined with a "spartan interior" will make this a bargain for any police dept. at like $23,000.

2007 Holden VE Commodore Info
Americans are pu$$!es who buy enough Toyota Camrys to make it the best selling car in America... I need to move to Australia because it's obvious now that they outrank us quite a bit in the intelligence quotient.

2007 Holden VE SS V
Love the LEDs all around... this is like an exprassionist painting called: "why I no longer ever need to buy a BMW" 280kmh = 175mph by the way, so this baby's probably good for high150s in the top end with the right gearing.

HOT!
It's not the heat, it's the humidity. I remember gettin into Duffy's Forrest Green Trans Am GTA in May in the suburb of Phoenix it felt like about 85*. He started the car, we rolled down both windows (no t-tops it's a 350TPI) and a few seconds later I was comfortable... in reality it was about 115* but with NO humidity. Heat is relative depending on where you live.

Paranormal
So yeah... we've decided to keep renting instead of buying... we'll be moving to a few towns over in Mass as of August 1st. Where to? The house previously mentioned in this thread. Marcia LOVES that house and when we found out it was back on the renter's market we decided to postpone a house purchase & just do that. I'll have a barn for the Super 88 & the back yard is a lot nicer for Sofia to run around in.

Time travel!
Wow... this reminds me of just how much cooler the Sky is compared to all the other Saturns ever made combined.

That is way more refined, masculine & clean in design than any Tundra.

C'mon people... this is a GM forum after all. I know that a few of you either know it or can look it up if you need to.

Cranked Car Windows are going, going...
Exactly why I'm all set having some POS $h! like that break about three weks after the warranty is up. The power window motors I've held in my hand weigh like 3-6 LBS. and there's still reglators there so I'm STILL not understanding how they could be lighter. NOS: http://www.gordon-glasgow.org/Images/dechrist.jpg I had no front bumper on the Camaro and if I ever get a Datsun 510 for SCCA duty & cruise nights I will remove front & rears but keep it semi-street legal. As a matter of fact I've been thinking that once I make the Datsun a back-up vehicle I might unbolt the front & rear bumpers off of it... Sofia would never ride in that thing again after that though... that car NEEDS them in a severe collision.

Cranked Car Windows are going, going...
NOS: Once AGAIN... just because I'd get an option (e.g. AC/P.W.) does not mean that particular option should be STANDARD. It's about freedom of choice. It's nice to have the option to choose. When we are all driving around in Government Issued 2034 Toyota Camrys with NO options I guess I'll have to deal with automatic trans. & $h!ty four bangers but untill then I'd love the CHOICE to get a feature or not. This is why I live in the USA and not the Middle East or Red China. P.S. PLenty of people shifted their 4-speeds just fine in their 1969 COPO/ZL1/Yenko Camaros w/ crank windows without the universe collapsing in on itself in a giant super-nova.

Top TEN Exotic$
So very true. I wish I had saved that copy of DuPont Registry w/ the ~240 mph street legal 3rd Camaro in al white. The guy surpassed everything except for the McLaren F1 in most performance categories. And in the grand scheme of thins the 3rd gen. F-body is not a great starting point for something like that. Agreed.... stick around Razor.

Everything old is new again...
This car featured some very advanced technology in its day. A 10 foot 2 inch fiberglass body in the style of a city car and a hybrid powertrain. Notice no quotations on hybrid. It was refered to as a hybrid even though it was shown years before the Insight & Prius were twinkles in their respective Nipponese parent's eyes. As you might expect it had electric motors & a conventional gasoline engine as well.

Chevy LT1 trivia
Yes the Excaliburs never quite looked right. Kind of like putting baby moons & flames on a '89 Camaro.

Balthy: 1. Wait until a riced out Civic pulls up behind you in heavy traffic 2. Turn on Flamethrower for about 17 seconds 3. Take digital photo of Civic with $1500 worth of melted body kit. 4. Repeat as necessary

GM Heritage Center
How the heck did I miss this post??? Another great thread MM. This would be like my personal Mecca. ----------- THE best looking post WWII concept car. Period. http://imageevent.com/face440/gmheritagece...l=0&w=4&s=0&z=2 ----------- Like the Mustang? Well if it had not been for THIS car the Thunderbird II project would ahve never happened, the V4 Mustang concept would have never existed and the 1964.5 Mustang would not exist, production or otherwise. http://imageevent.com/face440/gmheritagece...l=0&w=4&s=0&z=2 --------- Balthazar: I agree the LeSabre looks as if it was 230 inches long. Next to the Y-Job it looks downright diminutive. Hard to beleive that Mr. Earl had a manufacturer's plate on it and used it as a daily driver for more miles than some one owner Mercedes.

Chevy LT1 trivia
1993 Excalibur Series III Limited Edition 100 Roadster It was made possible after the father-son team of Udo & Jens Geitlinger saved Excalibur from bankruptcy in 1992 and they picked up where another German, Michael Timmer had left off. It included a few modern updates in terms of safety & emissions. Even a driver's side airbag.

Random Trivia
WEll that's the thing... someone might have thrown in the X-4 name into a magazine article in like 1992 and now fact or not it's throwing us off. I'll look through a few of my books & seee if there's a mention of it.

Bohemian Grove
I've never even heard of it... just seems like it's the jumping off point for about 3,958,541 jokes between Daily Show, Colbert Report & MadTV.

Wow, if loosers & desperate people are graded on a scale everyone including Vanilla Ice & Dr. Phill just moved up a notch after this woman was arrested. Not sure how much jail time is in order?
