  1. Don't make fun of him, from the contex & content of the post he must have downs syndrome... and I'm not kidding much. The Solstice will be a four door sedan & the Buick minivan is a Toyota w/ a turbo-diesel motor? Man that's wacky. Poor guy is
  2. Dear god someone please explain to me why the #@&%$ the 4.3 V6 is the base engine and not the 4.2 Atlas I6? What's the deal?
  3. Looks like your Aurora is still quite a bit lighter than my Super 88. When it comes to luxury cars I consider a lot of weight to be a good attribute, in an accident mass is still THE most important factor. Always will be. I don't like skinny chicks. Hourglass figures, full natrual chests & a little bit of hip is where it's at! This is as skinny as I like 'em. ...even lovely Carmen could put on a few lbs. IMHO.
  4. Ding-Dong the Witch dead! [/2026]
  5. Those Torino Taladegas with 240Z noses are ugly as sin. I saw a Speed Channel special on those one time. As far as the Mustang it's a 1970 unibody with the 69 Shelby nose so I'm guessig it's a prototype or whatever. Yet another time the Mustang was trying too hard to look like an F-body. After 1967 the Mustang was always playing catchup with the Camaro and more so Firebird/TA. Plagerism is still better than the Mustang II. WTF was that all about? Uglier lunchbox full of puke.

    1. how long did it run for? 2. Marvel's Mystery Oil or Lucas might help, anyone else got insight on that?
  7. Well... in all fairness I'd like to see a poll as to how many Automotive entusiasts drive 1st gen. Auroras. Maybe Benz & BMW suck in your oppinion but their buyers are much more "entusiastic" about this hobby than most Olds owners. Oldsmobile was at the top of their game making big old land-yachts bought by little old ladys, old retired WWII vets & frugal doctors. RWD obsessed BMW & Porsche owners are the ones who spend tons of time, money & enegry to figure out the proper camber & tire combo to run at next weeks SCCA event 0.5 sec. faster. I guess "enthusiast" is a relative term. O.B. A mint 1969 Boss 429 Rustang shows up at a local show on regular occassion. The damn valve cover on that beast is about as wide as a SBC oil pan. I have several photos of the car, I'll try to post them soon.

FWD sucks any way you cut it but a 1959-1974-ish Austin/Rover Mini (Cooper) is a great ride that takes advantege of every millimeter of space afforded by it's quirky transverse mounted motor & trans. Also a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado "Razorback" has tempted me before, what a sexy b1tch. Other guilty pleasures? Burning rubber ...& once in a blue moon other things.
  9. Yeah, how the hell did I not come out a 68 Z/28? My 68 Camaro had a 7000rpm redline ZZ3 smallblock, that's pretty damn close to a Z-two-eight. Esp. since it had the stripes too. Anywhooooo.... More sensless killing & cool seat of the pants cinematography. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyfkMbN5EmE&NR
  10. And the answer is XP833 ...there's conflicting info on this concept all over the internet as with so many obscure XPs. Anyone have any more 411?
  11. WWII fascinates me. I hope to God Sofia will not see a World War. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rS0AEhPXVk&NR http://www3.youtube.com/watch?v=LqH_WEqNK5...related&search=
  12. If I'm not mistaken Mercedes has had continuous production of at least one two door hardtop for like 40 years now... if they missed a year or two it's still a lot better than GM that gave up on Hardtops all togeather in 1976. ----------- What kind of Muscle Car are YOU? http://quiz.myyearbook.com/zenhex/quiz.php?id=42988 I'm a 1972 Chevelle SS454 http://img.myyearbook.com/zenhex/images/quiz9/42988/res2.jpg
  13. Happy Birthday! Try not to party too hard but make an occasion of it.
  14. Predictable, Conservative... kind of, uh... status quo. The Silverado is growing on me but the GMC is downright bland.
  15. So what's the story O.B.? You selling out to Veee Duuuhb?
  16. I'm very curious as to what the heck the ads are teasers to... I mean it's a pretty unorthodox way to try to market anything short of a dirty website or condoms...
  17. Holly Cow SpeedyII, That video is pretty cool, you're alright for a FWD lover. Gotta love those NorthStars... they do have a great combo of reliability & power. I'm 99% sure NOS played a major role in your old No*'s destruction. Did you keep the old block? I'd love to have a No* planter in my front yard... painted up classic cadillac blue with red & white flowers sticking out of the eight cylinders. Pistons also make a great paper weight.
  18. Disgusting.
  19. Pull the trigger and click "BUY IT NOW". If you want it bad enough that's the right thing to do. I just spent $54 on a big lot of license plates the other day, got them in the mail today & I'm thrilled! No buyers remorse what-so-ever! The lot includes a few old dealer plates from mass, which are ultra rare & even better: 1964 Y.O.M., 3-digit ANTIQUE plate. That's going on the Super 88! Just think what it was on in 1964 though. An Antique in 1964 would have been like a 1917 Stanley Steamer.
  20. Very true... How about a list of the 10 worst Rolls Royces & Lexuses ever made? Let's test drive an 07 Cadillac DTS versus an 07 Bentley and see the exact differance lbs.-per-lbs. and $-per-$. You want to talk about getting fu*&ed out of your hard earned money? Some of these exotic/ultra-luxury cars are a worse value than a 1972 Pinto.
  21. Well... considering the name "Riviera" means hardtop I'm with you so long as the B-pillar is swallowed along with the rear glass into the rear quarters at the push of a power window button.

How the heck could I forget the very first Crossover... 10% Russian Military vehicle (styling) 50% pre-fab shed 40% VW Beetle Still better looking than the Element & Ridgeline!
  23. Cool, I for one seem to always have my PM box 97% full. Thanks.
  24. Okay then, anyone want to take one more guess? Bueler... Bueler... Bueler...
  25. Cool... every Kappa they sell weather here or in Madrid or Singapore and weather with a POntiac, Saturn or Daewoo badge is anohter Kappa that helps make these cars profitable which means that even more money will be invested into the next gen. Kappas, and the cycle continues and everyone's happy.
