  1. Cool, I for one seem to always have my PM box 97% full. Thanks.
  2. Okay then, anyone want to take one more guess? Bueler... Bueler... Bueler...
  3. Cool... every Kappa they sell weather here or in Madrid or Singapore and weather with a POntiac, Saturn or Daewoo badge is anohter Kappa that helps make these cars profitable which means that even more money will be invested into the next gen. Kappas, and the cycle continues and everyone's happy.
  4. Never liked this one much... unlike that 88? Yellow GT that HE posted which is HOT & sexy this concept looks more like a cheap Fireo kit car than, well... many cheap Fiero based kit cars. The fact that it's an automatic shows just how effin' clueless GM was in those years. An automatic trans in a mid engined sports car? Like some kind of joke about how Americans are as told by the French. I do however like the drop top S10 Blazer concept in the background. It's pretty neat they made that but very lame that they never put it into production.
  5. 50 years from now the 1969 Camaro will STILL be the most popular & sought after Muscle Car in history... these cars are timeless in every way.
  6. The First Space Age Automobile? Not quite... more like "The Car For Space Cadets."

    07 monte

The Monte Carlo at this point is a huge dissapointment. Between the aged styling, transverse mounted motor, FWD & lackluster performance it does noting very well but tries to be a jack of all trades in a lame way. I think the current Monte is a disgrace to the cars that came before it. Park a 1970, 1973 & a 1987 next to each other and you tell me if the 07 Monte deserves to wear that emblem? Let's hope the Monte Carlo name is resurected in Zeta form, otherwise stop dragging the name through the mud and just let it RIP. Considering how it's the winingest nameplate in NASCAR history though they really should make a ZETA Camaro... just make it bigger than the Camaro with more luxury and tons more room with different styling.
  8. Excellent! Way to go GM... keep on improving. The fact that Acura/Honda & Lexus/Toyota are so far off shows just how much the dealer network has to do with these results. Same basic cars sold through a dealer network should NOT show such different results. P.S. VW sucks!
  9. Damnit I thought this was going to be about how Saturn as a brand was going to be snuffed out and it's dealer network will sell new Oldsmobiles as of 2007. *sigh* one can always hope & pray. O.B. she probably was not drag racing it but like so many other girls she probably felt it slipping for weeks so she pulled into autozone bought trans fluid and poured it down the windshield washer fluid reservoir after noticing the oil dipstick was dry as the Arizona sand. Girl logic when it comes to cars.
  10. Balthazar: The Bradley GT I saw was litteraly worse of in terms of quality, durrability & safety than a bumper car from the 1970s. I honestly mean that. The body seemed to be constructed of 0.15" thick lunch tray plastic, the "frame" was rusted but it looked as if even before the rust it had been useless... you know $h!ty welds & nonexistant bracing where there should be some. The plexiglass or what ever it is gullwing glass was like the blister pack material on a hot wheels package... I could go on but let's just say it was a POWER-WHEELS for an adult. You're probably thinking of the much better built & IMO better looking Bradley GT (pretty horrible) Bradley GTII (not so bad) I think an accurate description of the comparison between the GT & GTII would be that the GT looks likeit was designed & manufactured in someone's basement using left over parts from a defunct plastics manufacturer whereas the GTII looks like a cheesy kit car with some cool styling.
  11. Aren't ALL AWD trucks steerable? "I love my BMW X5 but I just wish I could make a right hand turn once in a while" Did you mean AWD with 4-wheel steering as in Delphi's Quadrasteer?
  12. Hey, don't bring Skodas into this... They're not French or American. From the 50s up until the late 80s Skodas were rear engined & RWD so that right there shows they were at least trying. Way cooler than some Yugo or Hyundai Pony, both of which were more expensive. Te Escalade rocks and anyone who has driven one & sat in one knows that. If Europeans had roads wider than 3.75 meters and gas did not cost $7.00/gallon they'd all be rocking the Escalade just as much as we do here in the USA. Big sedans like Mercedes S, BMW 7-series & Audi A8 sell in big numbers over there to big-shots so why not a truck. As far as the Escalades mechanicals being "antiquidated" that's a cheap shot at it's actual rugged design unlike most of the pu$$y SUVs built off of minivans & cars by the Europeans & Japanese. Mark my words much of the "hate" for the USA is resentment that we CAN drive a 3 ton truck to work and back and fill up its 30 gallon tank without dipping inot the kid's college money. But those foreigners seem to forget that we pay BILLIONS for things they get for free, like HEALTHCARE & HIGHER EDUCATION.
  13. Toyota will not merge with or buy out GM for the same reason that they do not want GM to go out of business: they would gain such a huge percentage of the market they would be considered a monopoly. I think that's still a legit concern today same as when GM had almost 2/3rds of the US market they were threatened with being broken up by the government.
  14. True... I'd take a mid-90s F-body with a 3.4 over any Ford 3.8 powered Mustang from the same era. God those things sucked... I've driven a bunch and they're such girly cars through &bthrough.
  15. Razor: I was reacting to the photo & to the traditional VW fad of lifting the inside rear tire... not attacking you. For what it's worth. Acura sucks no matter how many races they win.
  16. I can't wait until the day I have a classic Buick with drums all around. (1959 Buick of some sort!) http://i5.tinypic.com/20pq1oi.jpg
  17. Very cool, love the ragtop 68 Camaro & that bulldog-nosed Crew Cab is absolutely devine, I want that truck in real life.
  18. I'm not replying to the CTS poll untill someone adds: "two door PILLARLESS HARDTOP version" Actaully I CAN'T reply ot that thread but I meant to say I'm not voting.
  19. I'd love to drive trough there in a Lamborghini Countach and see how long I could sustain top speed. Flat states are fascinating to a kid who was born & raised in Slovakia where everywhere you look there's a hill/valley/mountain/cliffside.
  20. Weird & Tacky. Love the Wal*Mart hubcaps on the pink one. I think this is kind of corny and very silly looking but it's still less dorky than a Bradley GT. Those things look/feel to be made by a defunct hot tub manufacturer with a WWI era welder & some basic skills in fabrication. By basic I mean he saw a video on how to carve a pumpkin with a steak knife.
  21. Techno
  22. I got it! PINK FLOYD. Have a new CTS-V driving around some CGI created enviroment with all kinds of super futuristic hard surfaces, metal topography & chrome robots all while some crazy P.F. song plays. Welcome to the machine, but remixed all uptempo or perhaps something off "The Wall" but updated in a style similar to NIN...? Just thinking out loud.

    VW Tiguan!

I say all VW cars should start with "R" & all "SUVs" with a "T". Rabbit Raccoon Ralph Rectum Tuareg Tiguan Tits-McGee TightWad
  24. I like the front end on that photo it's the bulky, tall butt that's unflattering.
  25. My Girlfriend -------> & that's all I'm going to say about that.
