  1. ?pike: That's hillarious! Hey BV, how many Mudslides you had tonight? :P Still not as bad as my spelling.
  2. I'm telling you BV, you CAN NOT base your opinion of a car on ONE car/truck you've driven that has like 130,000 miles. I've driven Mercedes Benz that feel like they're a piece of crap, this doesn not mean every one is... the 240,000 miles might have smoething to do with it. (exageration for effect)
  3. Check it: http://www.surfnetusa.com/terry/scrap/wwiidios.html and another cool one: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal4...son/gal3576.htm
  4. Dioramas are awsome!!!! My favorite one ever was of a downed B17 in Northeren France. Based on a REAL event/plane/crew. I saw a photo of it in some modeling magazine in a barber shop as a kid... amazing intricacy. It was like a two acre 1:100 scale or whatever. Wicked cool!!! random google find: :o A real downed Flying Fortress in the Pacific on some island...
  5. Right from the start Chevrolet was cooler than Ford. Ford may have been before Chevy but Olds existed when Ford was just a twinkle in Henry's eye.
  6. You been drinkin' BOY!?!?! :P Turn on the firewall between your brain and your mouthpiece. (fingers)
  7. I've owned and driven several Grand Ams from the past 20 years... every one of them was sa more soild and substantial car than a Honda anything.
  8. Ever since I found out about Max Grabowski I was always under the impression that "General Motors Truck Corp" was just the layman jumping to an underrstandable conclusion. I donno.... either way GM truck Corp. is GMTC so it just doesn't fit... plus it's too predictable. How lame would FMC be... or DMC?
  9. I wish computers had Scratch-N-Sniff capability....
  10. yup... the old 3800 stil kicks ass. Even w.out sc/turbo help.
  11. Sorry, typo. I meant 79..... as in seventy-nine miles per hour. After all we all know that no 4-cylinder, 2litre FWD car has ever surpassed 779mph. :P
  12. Well it's the same as there never technically was a Olds Automobile Corporation or whatever but we all know where the Olds comes from...
  13. Here it is. Another gorgeous Tri-Shield. :)
  14. Thanks GM1, I was in the middle of a Google search for a 71 Boattail when my computer finally $hit the bed. It's official.... will not restart. Even in safe mode. I'm on Marcia's work computer right now but she done's like me on C&G or other fun sites on her beige box since it's for work only. *sigh* I hate IBMs.
  15. That's cause Buicks kick A$$!!!
  16. Plus with all my bitching about my preferance of manual trans. RWD and V8s... in the end my first car served me very well. 2.0 liter Sunbird 2dr with an AUTOMATIC trans. When I was 17 and flying down the highway at 790mph that was 7th heaven. And having that as my first car made me appreciate my 377 horse '68 Camaro THAT much more six years later.
  17. Exactly waht I was trying to say, well put. Although the BMW V8 has me salvinating! :D
  18. Althought it would not be the worst thing in the world a SS-concept style front end on a Camaro would be VERY dissapointing. :( It would come off as 2nd gen Retro ('70.5-'73) and if we do retro at ALL it shuld be 1st gen at the very least if not 69. There's my $0.02 for what it's worth.
  19. Absolutely right! :) I too love the Apache name.
  20. Damn... that photo makes me want to get a Aquamarine Metalic Daewoo.
  21. The only prooblem I have with thie antiquidated box is the tail lights mounted lower than most reverse lamps. It looked cool on a '82 ElCamino and Malibu wagon but looks like ass on a $100,000 MB SUV.
  22. GM1: you nailed it. :) I was just about to say: Love the sexy Blonde but why is there a tacky riced out Dodge behind her? J/K Nos... I love Vipers too Bro, just like the Z06 more.
  23. Ocn: don't forget the driver's door was not there... that's also a structrual part of the car as well... a front end collision transfers energly through the doors as well as the B-pillars.
