  1. They'll never make up the business they lost wiht olds... same as they'll never make up for lost B-body sales... a high percentage of those customers are now driving Mercury Gran Marquis, Ford C.V.s & Chrysler cars. If another division is ever cut from GM and it's not Saturn then I'm willing to bet GM will be a gonner in my lifetime. Dead as a F***ing doornail. How could such a legacy stoop so low as to destroy themselves from the inside out? :(
  2. The retro trend can die forever for all I care.... AFTER they finally give us that '69 retro Camaro. I've been waiting since the mid freeking 1990s for it for God's sake!
  3. Stupid STS fuel cutoff. Consider it signed! -Panther in Massachusetts. Too bad there's no way for me to confirm the exact speed I've gottten the Camaro up to.... I mean the Speedometer only goes to 120. :( I have surpassed 150 though I believe. When you travel a mile in like 23 sec. you know the car is flying. I have not even documented 120 since I have never even gone that fast with another passanger and you NEED both hands on the steering wheel at anything over 80.
  4. Wow, 53 Cadillacs and '67 Camaros look retarded all jacked up but this ElCamino looks awsome! :D
  5. NZR: reread my post, I was jusv kiding about dropping in a LS7 inot a Challenger... :P
  6. My hat's off to you Sir.
  7. It's G - A - R - Y
  8. Fuc#ing-A, this will go on forever. I'm done. Talk to me in 20 years when the Ridgeline is about as plentiful as a Subaru Brat is today.
  9. Apathy is such a sad state of mind.
  10. Check it Fools! ----> http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...wtopic=3170&hl= Don't be disrespectin' on my Datsun!
  11. Wow, thanks for sharing that Balthazar. I like it.
  12. Here's smoe inspiration for a new Sig. (yes it's an Intrigue with a 442 ram air style hood)
  13. "Ever present"???? I have not used that sig in months. Unlike you Mr. Predictable. Something other than a Bonnie & Aurora would be a breath of fresh air.
  14. Is that a &#%@$ joke. Canadians are better suited for cold climates, not stupid. Only freekin Honda has the balls to say ONLY $25,000 canadaian for a FWD, 4-banger econobox wiht an Acura badge and act like it's a freekin bargain. <_<
  15. Here you go! Whipped it up special for you. :)
  16. Those fine print sigs are starting to creep me out BV, are you dipping into controled substances? :P
  17. BMWs were not the only cars that remained basically unchabnged without any real "restyle" from the 1960s to the 1990s. Porsche was another and how about Rolls Royce? If it aint broke, don't fix it. The 1969 Camaro could have sold into the mid 1970s without a restyle but for the sake of change they restyled it almost from the ground up. The Challenger is legendary like the GT40 so it's goign to be retro, then maybe in 2015 they'll do a fresh restyle that will go off in another direction. For waht it's worht I always thought the '70 Cuda & Challenger were ridiculously ripped off 1st gen Camaro/Firebird wannabes. Aaaantoine: I disagree about not being able to restyle retro. Like I have said a million times here's a glaring example of a retro car being restyled three times: 1993 Mustang: NOT RETRO 1994 Mustang: Absolutely RETRO, every darn thing except for the headlights was retro! 1999 Mustang: RETRO but now it's more squared off and angular 2005 Mustang: BRAND NEW and yet still retro... redesigned again!
  18. Once again, care to explain...?
  19. You're obviously not listening.... I can't speak for everyone else but here's my reasons: - Huge compromise over typical 1/2 ton truck, but advantages in MPG are minimal - Pathetic attempt at a "rugged" look: Gross exterior - Hideous interior that look like a Transformer puked up a VCR on the dash. - Retarded proportions, it tries way too hard to lok like an Avalanche - Pathetic transverse mounted V6 - Front wheel biased AWD: obviously Honda is clueless about what makes a truck a truck - "Trunk" where there shoulkd be an uninterupted bed - Spare locked inside bed instead of accesible from under the bed - Lack of a boxed or C-channel frame, no real hard anchor points like a real truck. A prediction if you will: The beds will all rot out die to the fact that dirt, sand etc. will get into the weatherstripping and cause leaks, then water will seep in soaking the spare and rusting it solid in its anchor point while the water sloshes around and rotts away the trunk. If this truck was a Chevy or GMC or whatever I'd still say it is a huge stinking pile of Cow $hit.
  20. Ocnblu: Do you think they kissed and made up after the game?
  21. It did look like there was a Chevy bowtie on the radiator support. Check out those cushy brass era seats. Crazy.
  22. That's a new way to look at it. My buddy Ross hates them... I love them on ceratin cars/years. Like for instance a '59 Cadillac has fins that are much too vertical to work stylistically wiht the flat top, but a 95 Buick or 59 Chevy look alright. And BTW: the flat top cars have a lower roofline than the Bubbletops. It was a part of that whole lower, longer, wider thing. The awsome thing about flat tops is there are virtually no blindspots. What car can you say that about?
  23. Razor, get it right: It's Kitty Oswald up in the Cat Nip Sepository. And furthermore everyone knows that the trajectory of the bullet combined with the fact that no cat can get off three shots with a bolt action Riffle in seven seconds means the Kiten was obviously framed. This is a photochop!
  24. That sucks. WE've got a whole thread going today about theft. They showed up in excellent condition. I only had time to send you that quick PM that day because I was driving off to PA/NJ the next morning on that crazy roadtrip. I love all the plates and esp. the Oldest Ford Dealer one. Crazy. Don't worry I was not nervous about Ford germs, anyone who has owned a '67 Camaro has built up an immunity, same goes for 68s. :P BOTH. Lots of both. The paint on that car has see better days. There's seven coats of paint on the car including the original "Ash Gold" as per the firewall tag. The breakdown is as follows: - Ash Gold - Bright Red Mettalic - Burgndy Metallic - Cortez Silver - Black - Black (Macco did a pretty crappy job the first time it was redone) - Blue wiht white (what you see now) The blue paint was actually big mnoney back in the day. It's one of the first of the color-changing hues (from DuPont I think) Under a flashlight at night it still goes from Green to Violet depending on the angle. New it must have looked like a million bucks!
  25. SHENANNIGANS!
