  1. Anyone watch this show? The finale was awsome. I loved the way they did the last few minutes of the last episode. Very moving. (oh boy I'm a super-dork) The only stupid thing was that Claire replaces her rolled Herse wiht a F$#%ING Prius. So contrived and lame! <_< If you're a fan of the show check out the website. A bit obsessive but cool nonetheless. Claire is so hot in a girl next door kind of way. NILF. ;) http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/
  2. Screw the cops, I want a 5th gen. Camaro in base trim wiht NO power options (except for brakes and steering) a 6-spd manual and an LS7. Paint it up light green or sky blue... make it really look like a Chick car and I'll be up at the dragway humiliating people left and right! nothing coller than a sleeper. Any idiot can make a 17 second Civic look like a touring car but make a car that looks like a 15 sec. girly mobile run a 11.9 and you've got yourself a sick ride! (cheesy plastic hubcaps please)
  3. It's like the 1930s version of the F117 Stealth Figher.
  4. I've got the Hot Wheels version in several colors. :)
  5. 1. Winning Lottery ticket for $1million 2. LS7 crate engine = $11,000 3. 1958 Oldsmobile wagon ($1200 pulled out of someone's back yard) 4. 6-speed manual trans. = $2500 5. Blowing the doors off a 2006 Mustang GT in a '58 Olds wagon = Priceless!
  6. Okay... well I'll agree wiht you there. Just checking! ;)
  7. That was a commomn thing back then... two differnt intrerpretation on the same car.... left and right were disjinted. God I love Corvairs. LOVE THEM!!! Here's the one I hope to by after I get a serious buyer for my Brougham: I do not mind at all that it's a four door. 4dr hardtops are coler than 2dr sedans in my opinion! Besides this would mean I can install rear belts and take the whole family ot car shows on the weekends. The Camaro is awsome but I can't enjoy it with my little Sofia cien it's not safe enough for her as of yet.
  8. Whe I used to work at Bill Deluca Chev-Pont-GMC-Buick I used to take out convertibles in really crazy weather. One time on the 23rd of Dec. wiht flurries in the air slapped a dealer plate on a 1997/8 Mustang GT convertible and dropped the roof. Wiht my thick winter coat on I puled up to the drivethrough on Dounkin Donuts and acted as if I was the most normal guy on the planet. It was like 25 degres outside and my fingers were so stiff I could hardly grip the money i handed to the girl but the look on her face was worth it! Abot a month later I took out a Wrangler on my lunch break and dropped the top and went off roading on a power-line trail in the snow! I'm surprised they didnt; have me put in a stray-jacket with all the carp I pulled there. I did an crazy burnout in 1st and 2nd gear in that very same Wrangler (4.0, stick, sport) and did not realise my manager (Gregg) was a few cars behind me at that intersection. Boy did he ream me out! It was worht it though! :P
  9. Yes but CARS just started shipping the bodies oput earlier this year.... they MIGHT get a few thousand built a year... MIGHT. his is not goint to be in hughe numbers. There's like 7 different Kit car manufactureres who build Shelby Cobra replicas (even turn key cars wiht frames and engines) and yet they only make a few hundred every year.
  10. What IS up wiht that L.A.? IS it something from a horror movie or an upcoming trailer?
  11. Other than manual trannies, RWD and pushrod V8s the Hardtop bodystyle is the most awsome feature/option in any car. It's one of the most significant contributions GM has given to the Automotive World. What's cooler than this? Honestly!? Even Dorky cars look awsome wiht the hardtop treatment. :)
  12. Olds: I just love your CTS, however why te animosity against the 3800? I love the old 3.8 and wish it stuck around for another 30 years. I will say that the 3800 Luscerne is WAY overpriced!
  13. Love that BIG prominent bowtie on the tail gate!!! That's right, it's a Chevrolet and we're proud of it.
  14. What the F*&% just happened here? Satty: You jus graduated from Village Idiot to Official Forum Loony!
  15. Ahh... the inside jokes never stop. Good one Fly.
  16. WEll, ther's plenty I would replace or redesign but as far as "getting rid" of 5 models... 1. Torrent 2. Aveo 3. Classic 4. Whole Saturn line 5. Un-drop the Sky and call it a "Chevy Corsair" and Un-drop the entire Olds line.
  17. I agree BV, the Civic has gotten bigger than the Accord used to be. My Datsun was the biggest car in thier lineup in 1984, basically the Maxima or dare I say Q45 of it's day and yet it is freekin tiny compared to a 2005 Altima!
  18. All thee moire reason why a Kappa SAAB roadster named "99S" should be made!
  19. Ewe guys are crazy!
  20. Nice try but it's TOO COHERANT for a Harry imitation.... :P
  21. Wel, why then in 1969 did they sell 69 ZL1 Camaros and only 2 ZL1 Corvettes? I'd even pay $60,000 if I had it for a ZL1 Camaro wiht 500hp. The back seat, sleeper element and great muscle car styling would be worth it!
  22. My gut feling was actaulyl Buick, seriously. Great question.
  23. Holy shit, really?
  24. Speaking of which ever seen the movie "Tin Men"? It's like a Cadillac Orgy. At one point there's a sceene of a perking lot wiht like seven early 60s Caddys. I believe there's a '63, a couple '64, a '62 and a couple '61s... IIRC. FANTASTIC movie!!!
  25. This Corvair was partially responsible for giving Ford inspiration to make the Mustang! BTW Fly: I would not trust most French cars to something as basic as providing part time transportation nevermind a complex folding roof.
