Oh, I'm sorry. Sometimes I get a little too tipsy and everything goes blank. Sounds like it could be good news for you! :AH-HA_wink: We'll have to do it again, you know, make sure I remember, hehe.

Yucky! I would never tilt my head back. Why let that drain into your stomach? I'm sure it would be better to just let it drain out onto the ground. Once, I bled into the toilet. What a wonderful crimson bowl! Like the colour of those stupid red pickled cherries they put in Shirley Temple drinks, or whatever they are. I don't know if I'll grow out of it, I'm already 20.

Ha! Based on those pictures, I am so not impressed with the appearance of its interior, and the rear is God-awful ugly. Overrated and overhyped just as I had thought... but I'll look it over when I am in Detroit in a couple of weeks. Only the black interior looks good, otherwise it's just a modified version of the old interior. Different cutlines, better integration, same basic contours. I'm still waiting for the real new Malibu... you know, the stunner we all heard so much about????????

Whatever. People will buy it just because it's a BMW, and that's sad. A BMW version of a cross between the R-Class and CLS is sure to be eye-gougingly ugly and it will undoubtedly hold no practicality at all. Not to mention horridly dodgy electronics. Disgusting. BMW needs to do a restructuring of their own and visit their heritage and some stylists with an attractive point of view.

That engine just keeps getting bigger! Goodness! And, what's this?? Variable Valve Tming? In a Viper?! Uh-oh, Chrysler must be getting soft... lmao! Please. The Viper wasn't ever meant to be a refined, classy sports car for the upper crust country club members. It's a loud, raw, fire breathing monster of a toy and sure, the interior could be better, but that's not its mission or point in life either. It's to show that it's got more balls than any Vette has had yet (that's why in my opinion why the numbers were upgraded). I'd take a Viper over a Vette anyday for a number of reasons. One of them is sheer appearance, another is the bigger engine with more cylinders, a big one is that it's from Chrysler Corp. (hehe, yes, I know), and the purity of mission.

The steering columns of the LX cars are pretty much pure E-Class, the same goes for that stupid lever for the speed control. Sure, it's/was found in virtually every Benz, but Chrysler's wheel mounted buttons were much, much better. But because of the columns themselves, I really don't see it to change at all, unless they're really doing a major update on the interior's pieces which have a mechanical involvement.

Chrysler Nassau Concept
MyerShift replied to mustang84's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)
Oh hell yeah! If this is as good or better, of course, than the regular LX cars themselves and supposing Chrysler did make it, then it would be soo cool if it wasn't tortured into something like Airflite --> Sebring. It's bold, I find it beautiful, with a truly unqie interior. This is what I know Chrysler for, and if there's any remnant of the old Chrysler left, it will be built fully intact. Here's to hoping. -
Acck! Darn it all, I was thinking of something else. I have been here for just over a year, not just under. Good grief. I wish I weren't so absentminded. Sometimes I forget what I did a couple of days ago, lol..

Why, thank you. Sometimes I just need to make sure I'm not crazy in thinking there are others like me. :AH-HA_wink:

You know, I'm not sure why and Olds was never my favourite GM brand, but looking at the pictures at LSJ's website really tugged at my emotions. It really is, well, sad.

The speeders? Why? When I'm on the interstate (even if I'm only going 75*), nothing pisses me off more than drivers that think everyone should drive the same speed they do. I blew past a 9-3 ARC sitting in the passing lane on the right, and when I got back in front of them to pass other people, they put their high beams on (even during the day, bi-Xenons are noticeable!) but I kept going until they were out of sight. Pretentious little bastard it was! Lol.

Definitely camshaftLESS valve drive. I hear Mercedes-Benz's next four cylinders (and probably all following engine families if it doesn't sky-dump on them like that brake-by-wire system they used) are going to feature it. Now that's frightening!

Okay, it goes like this. I just got on the computer, and got to C&G into the lounge, and I happened to sneeze because right now my nose is running, sinuses are draining and blowing my nose happened to be the least of my concerns as a result of it. ~*Surprise!*~ I'm bleeding! From both barrels for a double treat. Ugh. I blame having to fuss over my nose due to the drainage, the dry weather, and possible veins too close to the surface. I mean, it's soo easy for me to bleed in the winter time and it bugs the crap out of me. My junior year in high school I did a report on hemophilia in my advanced biology class and consequently, my peers had to give me a hard time about having hemophilia (which is known as the royal disease, by the way) just because I would be sitting there in class working/not doing anything and, whoops! Here comes the blood! It's even better when you wake up in the middle of the night soaked and warm on your upper torso and when you turn on the light, it looks like a homicide happened but somehow wasn't completed. I can remember that happening twice. Sometimes it's so bad, my friends or family (depending on whom I am with at the time) think I ought to go to the hospital. I always decline, because for me I know that it will stop. If I ever started to feel faint or what not, I would go of course. Anyone else here have some similar experiences or stories? Or am I just a hemorrhaging freak?

In general, yes. Modern automotive technologies are just headaches waiting to happen. Especially if it involves any sort of computer. I mean, haven't we all dealt with a cumbersome and enraging machine??? Just think what their malfunctions could cause in automobiles, especially if somehow a virus got into the system if the car for happens to have access to the internet. Otherwise, things like i-Drive are unbearable as well.

Lol, I haven't even been here a year, but it's been longer than indicated... I joined a couple months before the previous "host" or whatever dumped C&G, so I, along with everyone else, I believe, had to reregister.

Why isn't the radio display RED????? What about the rest of the instruments? Are they green just like to Cobalt's too? If so, ugh. Mega-badge job.

I agree, there seem to Aleros all over around where I am. I believe that they outnumber Grand Ams. With good reason. The Aleros were smooth and attractive with a much better interior.

I always thought the Tucker Torpedos (is that the name) were fascinating. I hear that he actually frightened the Big 3, and that they plotted against him somehow, and shortly after he was shut down.

Toyota FT-HS Concept
MyerShift replied to DetroitNut90's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but... I actually like most of it. The only thing I just can't stand are the tortured surfaces on the front bumper. Other than that, it seems to be okay. And, surprise surprise, this is the Toyota Aurion which is based off the Camry, is front wheel drive of course, but built/marketed and sold in Australia --> Okay, so it's a bit bland, but is it not much better looking than the Avalon the U.S. gets saddled with? -
That really makes me feel great going to live in Detroit for schooling, but at least my car will be in a parking garage with security, anything important will be in the trunk, and plus, there are cars much, much nicer and more expensive than mine (like Audis, Impreza WRX's, and GTI's).
