  1. Depending on what it looks like in person, I really think I could like this. It's small, and if they still make it available with a manual, I would drive it. I know, I am really weird.

  5. OMG! I thought that he had been dead! That commercial freaked me out.
  6. Hmm, I guess this young guy within me would say the second generation Olds Aurora.
  7. Smart Stalk? You mean that multifunction lever was actually given a name?! I learnt something I had never known before. *Ok. It was a joke regarding Mrs. Angelil. Understood*
  8. Works for me, but I still think that the Compass should have gone first.
  9. I'd have to say "No". It's a very sporty and high performance vehicle, but it is not a "sports car".
  10. Uh-huh. I "resent" that. Celine has more talent than most. Did you know she is the most award winning female artist? What's wrong with Celine anyway? Oh yeah. Lol. Quite interesting car, but seems a bit pie-in-the-sky. *Adjusted for Content and Clarification
  11. Hmm. The interior does look good, but it doesn't look like a Benz. Looks Ford or Korean to me. Rear isn't very good, but I do like the front end. However, this is the first C-Class that I wouldn't mind having. Even if the S-Class interior is better, it has more electronic $h! and it looks bad to boot. I'll take a car that I can figure out any day over an i-Drive BMW or S-Class.

  13. I know it's not the new year anymore, but I saw my, like third ever Volkswagen Phaeton on Tuesday headed West bound on I-94.

  15. What about the Stratus and Cirrus parts?
  16. I agree. The first generation cloud cars merely needed more pop under the bonnet. Otherwise, they were better is basically every way compared with the second generation.
  17. Sometimes it could be good not to be interesting... And Welcome to C&G!
  18. All I can say is that "it's about time". I mean, it seems for someone like me that he has been around forever.
  19. $2.09/gallon in Coldwater when I left at 4:30 pm today.

  21. I sure hope that's there is a design change to make it better if that were the case. I know that there wouldn't be a bunch of cloud cars with failing fuel pumps all at once, it was just an entertaining idea, heh. Oh well. I am still driving that gold Sebring sedan. The only things I like about it are the 200 hp V6 vs. my 132 hp I4 and that it's quieter. Otherwise, everything is worse and cheaper feeling. The ride is all floaty compared to my car, and the steering is finger-tip light. Yuck. Then there's that interior with the horrid door panels and high cowl with an uninspired design. Plus, I have a list of 6 potential issues that that Sebring seems to have. I mean, I have spent a full two weeks with that car by Thursday, and I noticed all of its serious flaws, operating and aesthetic. Things like front driver's side weather stripping that's torn, the chip on the lower passenger side of the windshield, the clattering/clunking noise the front suspension makes over certain surfaces or under acceleration similar to that when I had my tie-rod ends replaced, the CHMSL is out, the lisence plate lamp is out, I bought wipers for the darn thing, the centre console door is technically broke, and the wub-wub-wub sound it makes when braking from speed such as on the Interstate. Hmm, I have a list somewhere. Lol. I told Karen (service rep- a really wonderful lady) about some of these things and that I had made a list.

    3-door BMW 1-Series

The only way I'd go near this would be if it was a stick, no nav (no i-Drive), a 3-door hatch, dark green exterior with black interior and umm, 16,000 U.S. dollars. Otherwise the message here is "God, you must really want a BMW". No thank you. Not if it was 25,000 plus in the U.S. I also find the headlamps to be gaudy. Fix those, fix the pricing, and maybe also send a regular coupe, there's a slim chance of interest, but I would agree in saying that the Astra, Focus, Cobalt, Golf (U.S. Rabbit), or hell, even a Citroen C4 would be better.

    Saab Story

Very interesting. I do find Saabs (and the 9-3 in particular) appealing. I was disappointed in the GM-ization of the interior. I feel that Saab, like Cadillac, needs to be as unique as possible to ensure that it's not just another option. The BLS is the only exception I would make regarding Cadillacs being unique from other GM models as it truly does look the part. Plus, Saab needs more and a "Saab" updated model range. For instance, if a 9-2 is produced and based on the Astra, then let the Saab have as many unique traits as possible. Things like ignition between the seats, the Saab Information Display at the top of the dash, night panel, and no GM-corporate stereo/climate control units.
  24. Welcome to the latest update of Steve (MyerShift) and his Plymouth Breeze. Rapidly approaching, Thursday will signify the second full week I have been without my car. First, it took the dealership forever to figure out what the problem itself was (and I've heard that Volkswagen dealerships are questionable). Second, problem found regarding failing fuel pump. I was quoted Tuesday (today- January 16, 2007) as the day I would be able to pick up my car. So, I scrounged the money together for what I do have to pay regarding the repair, and I called Team Hillsdale Chrysler before leaving Coldwater to make sure that I could pick up my car, which leads us to: Third, I can't get my car today because the part is on "NATIONAL BACKORDER" and I should be able to now attain my car on Thursday afternoon. What really raises the flag in my mind is the whole "national backorder" aspect of this part. Now, is this part (fuel pump) something Chrysler does not stock and has to make each to order, or is this part of a true nation-wide failure of the part in all of the first generation cloud cars? I suspect that perhaps at least something is amiss, because usually a part is in the next day after ordering. Well, I'm not sure what else is going to keep me from my car between tonight and Thursday afternoon, but I just hate to entertain the very idea of something else arising. What do the rest of you think regarding this? Especially the backorder deal...
