Rumorpile: Lamborghini's New SUV To Carry Name Of Urus

    William Maley

    April 19, 2012

The Lamborghini SUV that we been hearing for the longest time will make its debut shortly at next week's Beijing Auto Show will have a name. Chinese Media is reporting the name of the SUV will be the Urus.

We'll save you the trip to Google: a "urus" is an extinct European ox, Bos primigenius, a forebearer of domestic cattle whose last example roamed the Polish forests until 1627. So, the name somehow keeps up with Lamborghini's tradition with naming their cars after oxen.

The Urus is rumored to have a a reworked ten-cylinder powerplant from the Gallardo producing 584 HP, and a $200,000 price tag.

Expect the Lamborghini Urus to arrive sometime in 2017.

    • It's impossible not to think this.  This is stuff we've never seen before.  Recently, it was dumping feces on people protesting from a fighter plane on his own social media platform and now it's this.  A conventional RINO would (have) be(en) a Godsend.  I have become much less tolerant of trailer trash with all of this happening because they have enough critical mass to have put him where he is, yet he not so secretly despises them.
    • Plus the stupidity coming out of Idiot47 mouth about their deaths. Talk about Morons in DC!
    • I was very troubled by their finding Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle dead in their Brentwood area of Los Angeles home.  This brings up the sorts of things that have happened before, and I'm thinking of the late '60s and early '70s, so I was sort of creeped out. They've arrested his son Nick.  Not that it makes it any better or easier, but there may be quicker closure and the news said that his son had a very troubled past with addiction while growing up.
    • Yes, Come to work on a master's or doctorate ... meet ICE ... I knew a lot of fun and interesting foreign students when I was in college. A lot of them were more interesting than some garden variety Americans.
    • Sad, we go from an international desire to come for education to one to avoid at all costs with colleges moving out of the country due to the corrupt incompetent leadership in DC.
