Chevrolet has been FWD only aside from the Corvette for about 5 years. It hasn'y had a mainstream rwd cars for 10 years. I think its about time we had both RWD muscle cars and RWD sedans. However, this hardly means that FWD will be abandoned.

Ok, let's see the Line-up for 2009

Aveo on Gamma 1A

Cobalt on Delta 1B

Malibu on Epsilon 1B

Bel Air on Chi 1A

Nova on Zeta SWB 1A

Impala on Zeta LWB 1A

Camaro on Zeta SWB 1A

HHR on Delta 1B

Equinox on Theta 1B

Trailblazer on Lambda 1A

Blazer on GMT-400?(next midsize GMT platform)

Tahoe/Suburban on GMT-900

Colorado on GMT-400?

Silverado on GMT-900

Express on GMT-900

Chi was never a real program so cross out the Bel Air.

Not happeneing, neither the name nor the SWB Zeta sedan for Chevy.

Trailblazer on Lambda 1A

Colorado will get a mild restyle in 08 and will stay on GMT355. I doubt there will be an SUV part of this program because the Equinox fills that role so well. Also I don't think we will see a Trailblazer on Lambda before 2011 or 2012, though I could be wrong.

The Equinox is a non-competitive joke!

Somebody could not make up their mind when it came to features for this vehicle,

so they just left them out!

What are you supposed to be able to tow with this, compared to a Trailblazer?...

Marshmellows?
