First car with a 350 4V V-8

Recommended Posts

The 58 Desoto Firesweep came with a 350 4v before chevrolet came out with a 350 4v in the ss350 Camaro for 67.

Wan't this the first 350 4v?

No, because the '58 Firesweep was a 2bbl 350.

However, Dodge & Plymouth also offered a 4bbl 350 (same engine besides the obvious/expected) in '58.

Golden Commando in the 1958 Fury was 350ci and had two 4bbl carbs, it was also available with fuel injection in 1958. 305 hp rating with the dual quads, 315hp rating with the fuel injection.
