G8 going to rental fleets?

Featured Replies

Since I haven't found a dealer allowing a decent test drive, I was wondering if any rental outfits were going to rent G8s... I'd like a long test drive. Better yet, I'd like to rent a G8 GT.

Check with Enterprise... they usually carry vehicles a cut above your typical fleet crap. I've seen a new CTS, Enclave, Malibu, MINI Cooper S, and Prius all wearing enterprise plates.

Since GM isn't importing very many G8s (compared to the cars they're actually building here), I would be rather surprised to see a G8 with a barcode.

Some of the rental places that handle interesting stuff like Vettes and Vipers might have a G8 at some point.

Could be pretty tough to find though, especially a GT.
