I haven't logged onto the boards much, if at all, the last few weeks...and it may be a while before I'm back regularly (for various reasons), but it has been an interesting summer...one highlight being the July 26 multi-board/group gathering in Elgin:

And, even though I've wondered lately after a rough month of disappointments/frustrations, I still think it IS about the people you meet and come to know.... So...it is kinda cool to read that others seem to agree:

It's just too bad more people don't realize this...or realize it too late...instead focusing on details that, in the long run, probably really don't matter....

Heh...hadn't thought of it like that. Interesting, though....

Can't live with people, can't live without 'em.

Family, friends, security, pursuit of happiness, 'do unto others...'.

Most of the rest is delusional emptiness.
