I think the whole Japanese tuner thing is seeming to die down, at least outside of southern Cali.

This may indeed point that direction.

Import Tuner has to be one of the worst magazines ever...and while I like Mustangs there are about a billion other cars out there.

What I don't like about the Mustang thing is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of individuality in the Mustang end of the hobby anymore. Seems like everyone is ga-ga over the latest Shelby's and has forgotten a lot of the other Mustangs.

as soon as the new cobalt SS hits. it outperforms the asian sport compacts so they have to 'restructure' to deal with it.....LOL

Actually, your right, the cobalt SS will eat almost all of those vaunted "imports"

Not the first time that's happened. The Neon SRT4 outperformed all sport compacts (foreign or domestic) right up until it was discontinued.

Sport Compact car actually had an SRT-4 Neon as one of their project cars. It evewn had stripes with the graduated blocks up the side, like the 70 AAR Cuda. Way too cool.

I don't think that's really the reason. The economy is one reason. Source Interlink's over extension into the automotive field is another. And then there's the slow slide of print magazines, which is going to take more magazines (big name magazines) down in the near future.

yeap i got an email from the publishers of muscle car review and it offered me a subscription to 3 other mags "online version" for 3 years for like 12 bucks.
