Life-long dream : restore a vintage car carrier, load it with -say- '53 Cadillacs, get a snappy jacket/cap and drive cross-country to Cadillac dealers, stopping in & apologizing for 'getting lost for a while'....

Trust me, if you hate being around people, you'll really hate Branson. No matter what time of year, you're surrounded by people. Not just any people, elderly people. But not just elderly people, elderly tourists. Many of these elderly tourists have their own RVs. Its pretty much hell on earth. The whole "Beauty of the Ozarks" thing is a crock of &#036;h&#33; as well.

might i recommend seeing these sights in branson instead. i went to table rock lake and that place was wicked awesome. living near a man made lake (lake hartwell) seeing the water of a naturally formed rock bottom lake was a shock. you can see 15-20 down the water is so clear.
