I notice you've sub-divided the "Other Guys" forum. I liked it better the other way since you could see all the news in one bite, without having to enter each subforum. Not only that, but the purpose of the subdivision really makes no sense. One can ascertain the company the post deals with by the thread title. I haven't been here long (and since in the migration, my account was eliminated, I appear to be even newer) but thought you might like a little feedback on the change. Tony
We'll discuss changing it back in the mod forum. I'm going to add a poll to this to see what everyone likes, the old way or the new way.
I prefer new. C&G went through a pretty large transition and I think the new way is fine. Change is good. Works wonderful. Just leave it.
As Satty alluded to, this was done because a few people did complain about how relevant stories went unnoticed due to the sheer volume of Other Guys news. However, this is up to everyone at large. Vote now and the majority wins.

I just wanted a little discussion. Didn't need a full-blown poll. I guess I can see missing a few threads here and there, but the way I kept track of what's important was based on the replies. I'd read the ones with the most replies first, then read what I was interested in, and then reply myself if I felt it might be overlooked. As for the comment about the big transition, yeah, I understand that. But change for the sake of change leads to the design ideas shown on the 2005 Cavalier: not as clean as it was at first, not as friendly a design, and clunky to look at. Tony

Just FYI, if anyone's wondering what's happening with this, the results are so far 6 in favor of the new system, 7 against. We have hundreds of members, about 60-70 very active. I'm, uh, gonna wait for a better sampling.
Everyone could just do what I do. When I come to the site I just click view new posts. That way I don't miss something. I would like it if we could add a link within each post that takes you to unviewed posts within that thread. They have it on GMI and Cz28 and I like it very much. It makes it easier to keep up with threads that are very long.
I think we had that feature on the old board, 91z4me. I assume this one has it and it's just not turned on or something.
