2006 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA

Featured Replies

crusing lots today I saw the new 06 Grand Vitara. VERY NICE. Nice interior. Exterior is a nice chiseled shape. Whole vehicle seems well made. Cabin seems spacious, very sporty looking. Yes, that's the new GM 3 spoke steering wheel. Seat cloth seems nice. In fact, its the nicest Suzuki interior I've seen and the whole Grand Vitara makes the Equinox and Vue seem like regurgitated puke in terms of looks and quality appearance. A lot sportier looking than an Escape. Engine is a 2.7l v6...not sure what that's from. Pricing was good and warranty is always good with Suzuki. I know this should go with worldwide marques boards, but i thought it would get more comments here. The price was like 22 grand, and i think that was with AWD. Honestly, I might have to take one out. I predict success for this new Suzuki.

Is this built on Theta? Looks just like an Equinox with Saab headlights to me. And isn't that the same Honda engine in the Nox and Vue?
I saw a truckload of 'em last week.
El Scorcho, no and no. It's not on Theta, it's on a RWD platform and it doesn't have the Honda engine from the Vue.

I had to come look when I saw that front end in the commercial. Definitely nice for an SUV.
