This is the Toyota Vios (overall).

And our Cobalt (grille and headlamps).

Must have some mighty large Xerox machines over there.

There's not *that* much resemblance. I doubt I would mistake any one for another. Sure, there's simmilarities, but they're simmilar sized cars going for a simmilar image. I still don't see any total copycat-ness about them.

Looks like an Aveo after about 12 more plastic surgeries than Michael Jackson has had. (read: Grotesque)

I see the resemblance to a Cobalt, but the look reminds me of Peugeot more.

Still looks nasty though. Looks like something went wrong over at Lordstown.

So is this based on the Toyota?

I was wondering the same thing.

It's virtually identical to the Vios from the headlamps back. Is it based on the Toyota?

Ya, even the windshield squrter is in the same location, and the size of the windshield wipers. I guess it wouldn't be a bad deal if they used Toyota components. A Toyota, at a made-in-China price.

Yuck. You know, they say Geely had a stand at the 2006 NAIAS. I didn't even know it was there! Hopefully there were many others like me.
