Intake gasket 3.1 V 6

Featured Replies

In 2009, I had the intake gasket replaced by GM. Can I get any of my money back by submitting a claim against the old GM? Is there a long drawn out process you have to go through? I hope I still have my receipt.

i very much doubt it.... my dad (mostly) and i replaced mine back in... 08? on a '99 MC.... i bet a dealer would try to take you seriously, but after you left would just laugh at you.

After 3 years, I'm betting it would be difficult to have any implied warranty. You receipt may have some type of express warranty on it regarding how long the work is warrantied for.

Out of warranty. I can't find my receipt and I doubt the Chevy dealer in Richmond would have any record of the repair.
