Yes, very sunny, very dry.  And winter is either a dusting of snow or 2+ feet.  Then more sun.

A blue wave in the House is nearly certain and will go a long way to halting the current wave of shenanigans. The midterms are 13 months away and given how many decades have passed since Jan 20, 2025, I'm not convinced we'll even make it.  A blue senate is unlikely. There aren't enough flippable red seats to take.  Maybe a longshot like Andy Bashir taking out McConnell.... but I think he's gonna run for Prez.

The F35 is falsely called a 5th gen fighter.  It is suppose to be a 5th gen fighter. And it will be soon enough.  But there are many 5th gen features missing from it.  Not the stealth stuff but some radar technology on it  that was mentioned in the video is missing.  Even for the US Air Force.  Lots of engineering delays and mishaps...    Making the F35 slightly better than 4.5 but not quite 5th gen.

The Rafale is a 4.5 gen fighter from France.  Is capabilities mirror those of an F-16.  The Viper version.  But better.  The Rafale is a newer fighter and has quite the radar capabilities but not stealth tech.  Making it a 4.5 gen.   The USAF has phased out the F16 for its fleet, but there are many nations that continue buying it and flying it.  But those same nations also have bought the Rafale and use the F16 Viper and Rafale tandemly.  Truth be told, the F16 Viper version in certain combat situations is better than the F35.  Its in the communications and fighting alongside in tandem with other military weapons where the F35 shines and the other 4.5 gen fighters lack.

The Eurofighter is a 4.5 gen fighter.  Very capable.  In some cases batter than the Rafale and F16 Viper and in some cases on par.

The SAAB J39 is a 4rth gen fighter.  But the way the video explains how the F35 will be using drones to do combat, this is a fairly new way of doing air warfare and the Ukraine war accelerated the tactics.  But the Swedes that engineered the SAAB J39 have had that type of warfare in mind and the J39 is equipped radar and communications wise to do battle this very way already.  Yeah...like the F35 is supposed to do. To do battle in tandem with other military weapons on the ground, in the air or at sea.  In tandem.   So the J39 has that capability...

Seeing that all nations in Europe have been threatened by Trump in one way or other, all 3 fighters could be used jointly to do a better job than what an F35 could be used for.   And when the other nations, including Canada, will refuse to buy the F35, lots of billions of dollars lost. Not counting the billions of dollars of developmental monies already poured into the f35 program.  But those monies have been deduced from the books already I suppose.

Speaking of rail, I hope that California completes high-speed rail.  Southwest Airlines certainly doesn't like it, but it's better for the state.  And DC doesn't support it, which is no surprise.  The Big 3 (one reportedly more so) pushed streetcars and fixed route urban transit off the streets of the Los Angeles area decades ago, with a subway type system not coming back until the freakin' '90s.

The entire united States can f@#k off forever. seriously. southwest airlines kiled rail in Texas, look it up. George W Bush had some sort of railroad commission job at the time.

A lot of people here would rather build the divide rather than have good conversations where both parties learn a thing from the other.

People in this country have by and large given up learning.

This tweet is just rage bait designed to get the right wing angry at the gays, many of whom serve in the military.  May is Military Appreciation month. So not only is he spreading bigotry, he's also spreading misinformation.... and he did that All. The. Time.  When he got shot, he was in the process of trying to blame mass shootings on trans people. I frequently see people say that he was taken out of context, but when you go look up the entire context, what he's saying is even worse. You know what dead guy you don't have to ever explain context about? Mr. Rogers.

Did you know he also kept a public list of professors who taught on subjects like feminism, LGBT issues, or even just American history that he didn't like? He posted these professors pictures and contact information on his website and turned his supporters loose on them flooding them with death threats, sending barrages of e-mail and phone calls to universities to get these professors fired, some of them even having to uproot their lives and move.  Doesn't sound very in the spirit of "just keep talking" does it?  Imagine having 100,000 people e-mail your boss saying you need to be fired in the worst terms possible. That's not very freedom of speechy of him.

He spread Covid misinformation too, something which conservatives have been 100% wrong about on every angle of the subject for over 5 years now.

His entire operation was grift. Getting people angry in order to extract money from them. Heck, his memorial service yesterday was selling Merch! His wife set up a gofundme even though they've been bringing in millions for years.

So, while you feel you may have some alignment on his views, I would highly encourage you to find out what he was really about and the positions he took specifically to build the very walls he was claiming to want to pull down.  But feel free to post a position he had that you agree with and I'll take a wack at it.

He really was a horrible human being. I had issues before, but seeing Christians idolize him has made me commit to probably never darkening the door of an American church ever again.

Canada is doing quite well DESPITE the tariffs.  How is tourism in the US though?  Do you need Canadian money?  I bet you do!!!

Maple Maga from Alberta Pierre Poilievre is whining that PM Carney is wasting Canadian tax payer money on traveling. Yeah...Maple Maga lies also.  I mean, yeah, Carney is on a global tour, but he is securing trade deals with all kinds of different countries including China to possibly let in Chinese EVs. And military  talks. Canada is planning to ditch the F35. Maybe. Trying to see if the SAAB J39 Gripen is a good fit for Canada. Im willing to bet it is as its also waaaay cheaper to not only buy it, but also operate it as compared to the F35.  Sweden is also proposing to let Canada produce it in Canada in exchange for Canadian steel to sweeten the deal.  If Canada decides to forego the F35, it will be a HUUUUUGE blow to the US.  For many reasons...   Only problem with the SAAB is that Canada is used to having US defense intel integrated with our military hardware.  But Trump is screwing with that.  It may be time to decouple from the US. But this is why Carney is talking with Sweden, Norway, the UK, France and Germany about taking over NATO WITHOUT the US... To re-integrate ALL of our military hardwares and softwares NOT to be linked with the US.  Read up on it. Its fascinating how quickly the US is dissolving.

A decision is going to happen in October I believe about the F35 purchase or not.

Canada  scuttled a US submarine deal earlier this year.  Its either Germany or Norway to get our contract.  Decision to come soon.

I repeat, the US is quickly becoming a paper tiger.   I suggest you guys read up on global affairs regarding your country.  You may need to oust Trump as quickly as you can. The longer you wait, the faster the US becomes irrelevant.

Yeah Donald.   Phoque YOU!!!

Phoque the US

Chinese EV's getting in would be a huge (and welcomed by me) blow to the US auto industry. I am all for Chinese EV's getting into Canada.

All for no one at al buying the F35, our government will hold crap over folks heads and not provide arts or tech support.

I actually take the thing further, I think Canada should ban US hockey teams from playing north of the border, and I think Canadian Hockey players need a general strike and need to refuse to play American teams.

EVs are coming.  By the way of China.

In Europe, some countries have eliminated some monies to subsidies EVs, but that does not mean that European car makers are lagging behind in EV sales.  Stellantis, Mercedes and BMW are lagging behind in Europe.   Renault, VAG and Chinese OEMs however are not.

Chinese OEMs have the financial power and political punch to flood ALL car markets with cheap EVs.

The more Trump phoques around with global tariffs of any kind ESPECIALLY ones that affect automobile production, that gives EXTRA financial and political power to those Chinese EVs to flood the markets.  Chinese OEMs are on a dangerous area as they are producing more than they are selling and losing monies BUT...since Trump's genius tariff  moves around the world  and especially what happens here in North America, these tariffs are hampering GM, Ford and Stellantis.

Chinese EVs are already selling in Mexico.

Canada is on the verge of allowing Chinese EVs to enter the Canadian market.   Trump is facilitating a decision like that to happen when he does not stop with the 51st state rhetoric.  He is dangerously close in declaring war on Canada...   Only a phoquing fool does not see that...

Chinese EVs are flourishing in Europe.

When Americans are losing their jobs left right and center from lack of jobs in the US due to MANY factors in ALL KINDS of sectors ALL over the US with tariffs that YOU guys pay, when ALL the countries of the world are making ALL kinds of trade negotiations amongst themselves BYPASSING the US and LEAVING US products on the outside...

What do you think that will do to Hemi powered Chargers when Americans wont have any monies to buy ESSENTIALS let alone 60 000 dollar V8 powered Chargers and 80 000 dollar pick-up trucks?  GM, Ford and Chrysler will NOT be around...  But cheap Chinese EVs WILL be around for Canadians and Mexicans and Europeans to buy.   VW will be available for Canadians to buy...  GM?  Yeah...

It aint a joke, man.

This is not "the sky is falling" scare tactics...

It is very real...

Wake the phoque up...

Mexico has a huge amount of ICE and EV from Chinese companies. Motorcycles are a huge thing in lots of places outside of the US, and Chinese motorcycles are dominating the low cost market, and companies like BMW and Triumph from Europe are dominating the higher end market. No one wants (or few) American bikes.

The more you read from around the world the uglier it gets:

South Korea says detained Korean workers released from Georgia facility before flight home

Fastest way is to have a Narcissist ignorant idiot47 and his administration be too stupid to understand that Americans do not have the knowledge to setup battery plants. Nor is the desire to get the technical degrees by most folks especially in the south based on recent education reviews of states here. So, this leaves companies to bring in temporary outside folks to get things setup so they can train those wanting to get the jobs. Yet the stupidity is so great that the $350 Billion that Korea committed to invest in the U.S. is now probably not going to happen.

Presidential Chief: $350 Billion Fund Talks Stalled

This is shown by Hyundai now thinking of mothballing the existing plants under construction and just keeping things as is for now. That means no $35 billion investment for Georgia, 10's of thousands of jobs and growth in the auto industry here. No this is Stagnation and death of the Auto Industry in the U.S.

Ram has killed already having any type of EV and the Ramcharger EV pickup will now be a copy of what Ford did with a traditional gas truck and electrical to offer using the truck as a generator much like the F150 with pro power package were used to power homes in Texas due to the stupidity of that state leadership with a weak electrical grid.

Ram's electric pickup truck is officially dead

In other words, ignorant leadership brings death, and the days of the old manufacturing industrial revolution is gone and will not come back.

The biggest problem is that neither political party is working for "We the People" they are clearly taking money into their own pocket and letting the 1% have their way, this will destroy what people think America is about.

Idiot47 and his lemmings have no clue about "We the People", they are stupid in understanding the constitution, willing to manipulate to break the laws for their own self entitlement gain and fail to see how they are destroying this country.

While CEO Mary of GM says they are still committed to EVs, the pull back and single line manufacturing of all EV models while they invest billions in old tech is not going to save GM in the long run unless they truly make some major changes. Society will move forward, auto industry will move forward the Ford, Stellantis, and GM, America auto industry very well could become a footnote in history books by 2050, though it could get stretched out if America truly becomes a dictatorship state, then look at Russia and their old back assward country as well as North Korea and how behind they are. Two 3rd world countries thinking they are 1st world and a 1st world country becoming a 3rd world country due to stupidity.
