2016 Chevy Camaro Dyno'd by MT and HOT ROD

Featured Replies

Really want to see the new one in person. Like what I'm seeing so far even though they did not fix my one big problem with it (namely getting in it without knocking my head off in the process).

So the Camaro packs 67 fewer peak hp than the Shelby but 31 lb-ft more peak torque.

I dunno man-I think the performance gap between these two is gonna be pretty slim, or possibly non-existent.

Either way, I can definitely see a day when I own some variant of this car. Can't wait to read the writeups on the initial drives.

Both the SS and Shelby dyno'd at a 12.x% drivetrain loss. Impressive that they are down to such a small drivetrain loss.
