Most Patriotic Country: USA?!

Featured Replies

Not surprising to me. The US has a very strong national identity.

Uhh, I would have been very surprised if the US didn't top this survey.

It seems like other countries seem to love their country much more. Maybe it's because I'm from Michigan and everybody's pissy about unemployment.. blaming it on Bush and the governor.

Sure, that may be true. Regardless, Americans love us our country even when its not perfect.

NOS - Remember. You can hate your government and still love your country.

Not around here.. everybody is bitter because of the job market, so they're blaming it on Bush. While they're at it.. why not complain some more about Bush because of oil, the Iraq thing, and whatever else they can find. They're so bitter that it doesn't seem like anybody wants to be an American around here. Except the Mexicans that keep flooding in from down south.

Well... only 36% of the country isn't complaining about Bush these days.

Patriotism has nothing to do with who is president.

Exactly. I'm still a proud Canadian even though our current Prime Minister is Conservative.

Should ask him where he gets his Viagra. Heard he gets a good deal!

To me pride in our country is more to do with what we have accomplished and what we still can. Its about our people, our industries, our countryside, and so much more.

The government does not necessarily play that big a part in it. And hey, part of that pride in our country is that if we don't like our leaders we can always replace them.

Please, let's leave the political insults alone. We have a lot of different views on how things should be run in this country and we all have a right to our opinions. Hmmm, another thing to be proud of.
