  1. You keep singing the same song but the audience left hours ago.

  2. Another design monstrosity from toyota. I expect to eventually read pages upon pages of people mentioning the unfortunate cladding, tho.

  3. While the performance is, of course, incredible, they RUINED the design by going with the same old-same old 'super car' cues; pulled the front wheels back to the door seam, gave it a ridiculous front overhang, big wing, raised rump.... Rimac made it completely 'run of the mill super car' in a sea of the same, when they had a very unique & distinctive design in the Concept One.

  4. Not bad, I tend to like Porsche better than other Euro brands. I expect to eventually read pages upon pages of people mentioning the unfortunate cladding, tho.

  5. So this is a preview of their i-Pace/Model X competitor, methinks...lots of the deets look production ready...

  6. Weird lighting on the front end, strong similarities to VW and Audi exterior profile and rear styling, rather plain interior for the price...nothing about the interior really shouts ultra luxury, IMO.

  7. A former poster here would love the title of this one..

  8. Let me get this straight: you calling SMK a fat lady?

  9. I can tell you with 100% certainty that my "bug" was not without a soul. The Beetle shape is iconic and is one , if not THE most recognized automotive shape in the world, it reeks of distinctiveness. And I went camping in it more than once with back seat folded, it carried my tent, sleeping bag, cooler, folding chair, etc. etc. If this blob had no badges, NO ONE would know what it is, and fewer people would care.

  10. Saw one of these overstuffed couches today, waddling thru a dunkin donuts parking lot. Nothing says 'class' like a $2 donut & a $230,000 SUV.

  11. I'd heard of Quigley 4x4 conversions, usually with Ford Econolines. But had not heard of Mowag---Swiss Dodge van 4x4 conversions. http://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog/reader-ride-dodge-mowag-4x4-b350-van-swiss-rarity/

  12. No trolling. c-class has 88 CF of passenger comp, ATS has 91 CF. Only interior dimension with any appreciable difference is headroom, tho the ATS sits an inch lower than the C.

  13. But recall that the '350 debacle' is what generated the legalese 'GM vehicles produced with engines from various divisions' or the like, precluding any class-action suits/ complaints. The initial PMD OHC I-6 was 230 CI, but it may have enlarged to 250 by '69.

  17. Distributor on Ford flathead is in the same location, BTW. I think this engine was built just to showcase a very non-conventional re-engineering. Revised cam allows it to breath 'in reverse'.

  18. After seeing the teaser commercial, I think the Cadillac XT4 is going to be hella cool!

  19. Saw this and a first rate job, wish for better looking rims / tire combo. Cadillac really needs to get back into having a pickup truck.

  21. @balthazar I agree that the One has a much cleaner flowing design. Looking at them side by side you can see the Race Car Video Game they put into the 2nd gen version. Interesting, if we asked them why would be a good question. Rimac 1 Rimac 2
