Final Update on the XC90 (Was hoping to get this up yesterday, but got busy with other things). Average MPGe landed around 50.2 for the week. Around 60 to 65 percent of my driving was done on electric power alone. It would have been higher had I not checked if I had fully plugged in the charger into the connection the first night I had the vehicle. Overall electric range came between 20 to 22 miles. Recharging the XC90 T8's charging time, it is the same as the V60 Polestar - 8-10 hours. You can use a 240V outlet to charge it via an adapter. To answer @David question on space for tall passengers, there is plenty of headroom due to the boxy shape. Legroom is fine, provided there isn't a giant sitting up front and has the seat set all the way back. Don't even think about trying the third row - pain to get in and barely any legroom if the second-row captain's chairs are moved all the way back. No problems with Volvo Sensus in terms of freezing or crashes. When it comes to write the full review, I'll likely be doing a "Here's what I would cut from the Inscription" to make the price tag slightly more palatable. Spoiler, the 21-inch wheels are the first to go. I should have a new interactive review up later today.

Hate the ones that think they need the left lane, but don't get going with the flow! It's far more dangerous than speeding if all cars are moving along and one moron who can't drive for sh!t decides to jump in the lane without adjusting their speed to the current lane speed! Doesn't happen when driving my full-size truck hardly at all, but if it does they see what HID's on high beam can do in their mirrors at night from a FS truck If you're going to hit the #1 general lane or HOV pay attention and get moving or just stay to the right.

Final Story is an interesting read on the Ban of new gasoline auto sales starting in 2035 and how California Power Companies are seaking a streamlined approach to permitting by the Government if they are to build and install what is needed in power generation and grid distribution of created power to support the demands of the EV auto's by 2035. Power companies are wanting approval to build Vehicle-to-Grid or V2G technology to allow the cars that have full batteries to discharge back to the grid during high demand times. This would be a battery buffer on wheels approach to optimizing power distribution. Power Companies of California are expecting a jump of 25% more electricity demand by 2035 when this ice ban goes in effect. Having auto's charge up during the day when there is a surplus of solar generated electricity is a need as is having battery banks so that in the evening when solar drops off but AC and other needs are needed it can offset the demand. Also changing to LED to reduce power consumption by all light sources needs to happen sooner than later so reduce electricity waste. Smart Charging, Smart Storage and changes in how we do things such as excessive lights on at night.
