  1. So a funny story, was listening to music and decided to watch a short you tube video, and listen through my stereo system. Changed input on my WiiM from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth. Finished my short video and went upstairs. Was controlling volume through my phone, had the main volume and subwoofer all the way up at the pre amp. My wife was working out in the basement…I decided to watch a couple of airplanes take off on YouTube while I got ready for bed upstairs. Forgot I had set the WiiM input to Bluetooth. Turned the volume all the way up thinking I was just turning up my IPhone…needless to say the takeoff video rattled the windows and nearly vibrated the plates out of the kitchen cabinets. Wife ran upstairs and was like…what happened, sounded like an airplane just took off in our living room…. Who knew that an Airbus A350 at full takeoff thrust was NOT a way to endear myself to my wife?
  2. Freedom is never free, both of my grandfathers who fought in WWII and were drill sergeants at camp Pendelton till they retired always told me that every man has the responsibility to stand up to people who wish to take away the freedom of our fellow citizens. One must never give up defending the constitution of our country and the rights for equality for all humans. I will always do my best to defend everyone and fight against the Narcissistic fascist individuals who wish to belittle those they do not consider human. All humans have a right to live free and without fear of persecution by hate filled racist thinking. Hopefully Idiot47 will go six feet under sooner rather than later.
  3. Yeah....I have dumped some coin on vinyl, but having the time of my life! They just live like it's 1885, they ar an Amish band....(just kidding!)
  4. It's a MUCH better way to spend time than worrying about politics.
  5. Right now I am spending lots of time lsitening to music. It's keeping me sane. 1985 That whole thing was a miracle. Survival of the fittest, car market needs to consolidate and change. Todays bizzar post....
  6. It's simply because I don't care. I don't care about politics. It is a complete waste of energy to get riled up about politics. It does me no good to worry about them. I live a happier life not worrying about something I have no control over.
  7. Heavy PASS on the Creamed Possum. Are you sure they broke up in 1885??????????
  8. Common buddy. (Im saying that with my utmost sincerity) You know the last statement (the bolded part) you made NOT to be true. Americans especially, have worked very very hard to earn their rights and freedoms since 1776. (The birth of your country) And along the way, many many battles have been fought to ensure freedoms for their citizens. And I do NOT mean war battles but those too have been fought to ensure rights and freedoms in your country. The one good thing about America is that you HAVE freedoms and if you, in general you, dont cherish and continue to fight for those freedoms, you will INSTANTLY lose those freedoms and then you wont be able to live a happier life... Its one of those things that you dont know what you;ve got until its gone... Last time I checked, the right to vote and the right to contest and the right to propose and the right to thought right to express an opinion is alive and well in America. And the ONLY way to ensure the survival of said rights is that you HAVE to worry about it and you HAVE to PARTICIPATE in your freedoms to ensure they continue to exist. This is what is called living in a democratic nation. And in fact, it is your DUTY to particpate... Yes CCAP, you actually DO have the power to change shyte in YOUR country. American rights and freedoms in your constitution PERMIT you that right. I wrote a list above on what rights you have. In the US, you have legal channels that you could go to, to ensure that your rights and freedoms stay alive. Women burned their bras in the 60s to fortify their equal rights to man. Rosa Parks defied a bus driver so she sat wherever the phoque she wanted to sit to ensure black people not be second class citizens. Just a few examples. Some battles took a while to win. Some are STILL being fought DESPITE major progress because their is STILL a long ways to go, but the right for RIGHTS is PROTECTED in your country. And hopefully you could see what is happening now politically in your country, democracy is at a very fragile place. And you HAVE to care because if you turn a blind eye to it, it will disappear. It might not be with Trump. It might be in 2 elections from now with an even MORE brazen politician than Trump. But if too many American citizens have a laisser faire attitude, then start kissing your constitution good-bye.
  9. Just 4" shorter than a new Traverse, yet the interior legroom and cargo room looks to be the same.
  10. This is so true; I expect another market move like this next year. Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out and when. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/savingandinvesting/the-s-p-500-is-set-for-back-to-back-20-gains-what-history-says-happens-next/ar-AA1v1chk?ocid=BingHp01&cvid=7366086103ae4cc3ba1d0991a4b9b142&ei=71 WOW, International investments in our stock market is up to 70% now, greater than ever before and at a peak that is indicating a giant bubble about to pop. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/an-overhyped-us-market-is-stoking-the-mother-of-all-bubbles-market-expert-says/ar-AA1v87YR?ocid=BingHp01&cvid=7366086103ae4cc3ba1d0991a4b9b142&ei=95
  11. Few neat old convrtibles in this video. Music cover for Monday
  12. A weird enough interior that it might appeal to Tesla enthusiasts who can no longer stomach buying from Elon. I don't think I'm a fan, I like the EV9 better.
  13. Not handsome, not ugly. Perfectly fine little boxes that Americans should love. They don't move the needle much but should be good for people who want a CR-V but don't like that Honda doesn't really negotiate on them.

  15. Just a mild refresh, but that's okay since the original was already class-leading.
  16. This is the one I remember well. It went all the way down the runway, kept going, and then down an embankment next to the 401, a 16, +/-, highway/freeway north of Toronto and inboard from Lake Ontario. Everyone got out. It was raining heavily as this A340 was landing.
  17. Have to say that Nissan had every chance to own the EV world and someone fell asleep at the wheel when they launched the LEAF and did not move fast enough to capitalize on the market, the tech, etc.. I can easily see the brand dying by 2030. 'Real reason' for Nissan collapse revealed as finance chief steps down
  18. The Korean Airlines plane lost because navigational errors took them into Russian airspace... The air cargo 747 destroyed in Afghanistan due to improper flight loading/securing of cargo. Love this livery. Might be one of my favorite 747 liveries. Every accident is so interesting in terms of human/mechanical failure of some sort... The South African accident was one of the most interesting to me.
  19. I tried listening to the video but I couldnt get myself settled enought to do so. ADHD? That may be a possibility and I was also helping my son with his homework. My opinion is that I dont think Hell is a difficult place to get into. Its a prestigious club and ANYBODY could get in when temptation is strong enough. In my opinion Hell not need be a physical place but it could be a mental one too. And there could be different types of Hell. Little bastions of Hell making it easier to find on earth. An example: All kinds of fiery sin in that kind of place. The depths of human depravity and suffering. Like I said...temptation in that mini-hell that leads to Hell's resort that eventually leads to the mythical place after death. That would be one sort of hell. Another would be this kind Look how the Devil looks like in the picture below And I didnt want to post the next pic below because of the injured, possibly deceased little girl that brought tears to my eyes. But that is how the Devil works. And we enable him. Some of us in this world do his work for him and this is how he repays us here on earth. We dont even need to wait to die to feel the wrath of God when we dont enter his realm. When God denounces our plea to enter Paradise... We collectively pay for ALL of our sins. And I mentioned Hell could be a mental entity... The best example I could find of this type of Hell. 2 different soldiers in two different wars experinecing PTSD. Shell shock or whatever term we like to call it nowadays. One doesnt even need to be religious to experience Hell or to permanentally live in Hell in life on earth or after death. Hell exists for real and it has NOTHING to do with religion. Religion just scares you about it. Hell truly exists. Its the deepest, shyttyest human thing that humans do either to one another or to onesself... Just my opinion.
  20. 50,000 vehicles now at 25% ice and 75% electric, but still the same price $2.98 Billion dollars at an average price of $59,600. But of course, the USPS had agreed that changes would be billed as an extra cost that our FEDs gave the USPS so an undefined bloated costs compared to readily available commercial electric vans. USPS Places Order for 50,000 Next Generation Delivery Vehicles; 10,019 To Be Electric - Newsroom - About.usps.com Then the updated contract that USPS would buy now up to 165,000 of these weird looking delivery vans. Sadly we could have saved billions if they bought the electric vans from Ford, GM, Mercedes, but nope got to waste tax payer money on paying a military contractor that is clueless about commercial autos and so they start to build another inefficient ICE truck, but that is still moving forward but only as a 25% of the contract and still way more expensive than if they bought from the Detroit or German auto companies, instead OshKosh Military built an electric Platypus mail delivery van that only gets 79 miles of range when in comparison to commercially available electric vans. The Ford e-transit gets 159 Miles at an average transaction price of $46,200. The GM BrightDrop electric van gets 250 miles of range at an average transaction price of $62,725 but with a much better range and is double the size. This being the BrightDrop 600, the smaller 400 is just now going into production that would compete with the Ford e-transit and is supposed to have a starting price around $45,000 The Mercedes electric version gets 248 miles at an average transaction price of $42,189. All cheaper than the stupid contract with a defense contractor that has never build a commercial product that competes with others. The Idiot45 administration should have kept it to existing auto companies and not allowed themselves to be swayed by military folks pushing to let them build the mail delivery van of the future.
  21. I also think it was a stupid firing. The Bruins are missing 2 centermen. When Bergeron was there, they were mssing 1 centerman ever since Krejci left for Europe. Krejci did come back and they had that historical season. But BOTH retired the very next year. Yeah...they never replaced those 2 centermen. You cant really replace a player like Bergeron, but truth is, they need TWO centermen. Last year, the team just played BEYOND their talent. Great year. This year, the Bruins are playing EXACTLY who they really are. A.500 club. And Monty cant do miracles. Ive heard of Lance Stroll. I dont really know how good he is, but Ive had some little insights about him that he isnt really all that. I did know that his daddy partly owns the Aston Martin team so yeah. Id have to agree on that sentiment. F1 racing. There is plenty of nepotism and favoritism that goes on in that league. Hence the Cadillac/Andtretti team problem of getting in. Now, Im sure Michael aint no saint either in regards to the other F1 teams as to why ALL the teams hated him... I also knew that. I was reluctant to say what I said but I wanted to throw a bone at you for saying what I said for the politics talks we have had the last 48 hours or so. Ill try to limit my political talk going forward. Sports and cars only. Promise!
  22. Auugggghhhh....I worked for Wells Fargo in Chandler, AZ from 2009 to 2011...what a truly, deeply awful company...absolute sweatshop environment in IT/Software Development. Too many 70 hr weeks, 5am emergency calls, Friday night implementations...not to mention a 50 mile round trip commute in awful traffic... in 2011, after 3 people in my 25 person department had heart attacks in 6 months (one fatal), I had had enough. And I went somewhere even worse--McKesson, home of 90hr work weeks... I don't miss any of that.
