    A buddy of mine from grad school is a professor at UIUC...he's invited me to come visit several times. I was the best man at his wedding 25 years ago, I should make that trip sometime and explore that part of Illinois I suppose.. it's about 7 hrs from me.

    I think every state has sections like that, you visit once or because a family member or friend is there and then you never go back again.

    My sister went to the University of Illinois (Champagne/Urbana) so I went there a handful of times. I haven't gone back since she left though. There's really no reason so, hahaha.
