The fact that it is a patch job is my point. This van is hitting the decade mark without any major changes hence my opinion that Stellantis doesn't care. That "platform" should have dropped a few years ago but again, Stellantis.3 points

Perhaps you should look up the Bronco recalls regarding the engine(s) alone. Things like cracked fuel injectors are a little more than standard recall stuff. Those engines have had major teething issues from the jump and it hasn't stopped. My point here is that Hyundai/Kia will do just fine if we are going to bring up things like reliability with the competition.2 points

More like a bad Korean style nose job. If the rest of the van had been redesigned with this in mind, that might be one thing but this just looks beyond tacked on. Stellantis simply does not care about Chrysler.2 points

While I don't think he's doing great nor polling great, using CNN as a source for bad news against Trump isn't exactly a non-biased, reputable source.2 points

This thing is so dated. I can't believe people will pay $50k after destination for the Select trim, let along $60k for Pinnacle trim. But there will probably be $5-6,000 cash on the hood to try to move these. I also think in 2033 they will do another facelift and the Pentastar will carry over.2 points

Except for the diesels, none of that is an engine issue.1 point

Nissan and Volkswagen and even Benz need to get off this 2.0T thing for vehicles that are too large for it. Hyundai/Genesis, Ford, GM, Toyota, all have 2.3T - 2.7T going and that extra bit of displacement seems to make all the difference when moving around a 5 ton barge like these three-row crossovers. Yes, they still sound like ass, but at least they can move.1 point

Ohhhhh....the impact of our national stupidity is going to be epic. Keeping out of debt, making Popcorn, and watching the fall. On a happier note... I am done with American companies almost in their entirety other than small ethical businesses.1 point

The 10-speed has been problematic in most of the larger applications it’s in. Silverados and F-150s both having issues with it. It seems to be fine in the Cadillac sedans, though they did have a recall.1 point

I get what your saying, but that belt line is just so bunker look and I hate it.1 point

(Looks at the Wrangler and Bronco reliability history and chuckles). Hyundai/Kia should be fine with whatever ICE option that they put in this when looking at the competition.1 point

They have something else in the works. I think the existing system was costing them too much in warranty and stop-sale orders. It probably wasn't salvageable. Any one else think it looks like a Bolt XL?1 point

It's disappointing they couldn't just make a good, working product. On the surface, it seemed like a killer family vehicle for those wanting maximum efficiency.1 point

You're on to something here, but I kind of disagree-ish..lol I think it does have a pretty high beltline but it also had a pretty tall peak window height, buuuuuuut the window isn't conventionally shaped. It looks like it is nearly a 45 degree angle from the point at the front to the peak by the door opening. Maybe it's just the angle of the picture but it looks like it gets tall faster rather than a longer window that gets to its peak over a longer distance. Does this make sense or am I just rambling and I can't get the thought out of my head clearly? I understand what I'm thinking, but I don't think I can turn it into words very well, haha.1 point

This is interesting Please, please, please don't show this report about Trump's economy to your MAGA-supporting family (unless you want to start a fight) April Boycotts According to the People’s Union USA, the following corporations are now part of its permanent blackout list: Amazon Target Walmart Home Depot Starbucks CBS List of companies being boycotted in April Donald Trump's Poll Numbers On The Economy Are Breaking Records For Reasons He's Realllllly Not Gonna Like1 point

Watch out for the gun toting nut who will protect their house by shooting first, asking questions later imho.1 point

They better hurry before Nissan gets a new Xterra or Toyota gets a new FJ. This off roader segment is getting pretty flooded, but Hyundai should do this and a pick up. Chevy missed out with the Blazer, not sure what they were thinking.1 point

If you drive around an area and the houses look nice, but they all seem to have wrought iron or metal doors in front of their front doors, it's probably best to move along and keep looking.1 point

While I don't exactly think anything going on is right, I also don't think trusting anything an oil company CEO says is smart either. They've kind of been known to stick it to us over the last... forever-number-of-years. Chevron is the prime beneficiary of the Venezuelan oil situation so they have reasons to want to keep oil prices high. They're producing more and selling it higher.1 point

We'll Chevron CEO is talking truth, the hurt is coming as the damage to oil infastructure, shipping, storage, etc. takes time to rebuild and as such, OIL is going to get more expensive, Gas more expensive, etc. Idiot47 has really screwed the world. Chevron CEO sounds alarm as Trump puts a 10-day clock on Iran This is awesome for Rivian and the direct sales model. So happy that we have choice here in Washington State. I bet some of that depends on the actual seat height and where your head is in the window. For somebody short like myself, it may feel more bunker-like if the seat is low. For example, the Camaro sat low with a low seat AND the window was small. One of my good friends had a 5th gen and I did not feel comfortable looking out of that thing. I felt like I couldn't see anything in any direction. My friend said backing it up was a complete guessing game. You just had to hope and pray nothing moved out while you were backing up.0 points
