  1. I swear I will never get you guys.....I guess I'm just different in every circle I surround myself with. It's a great concept, and that's all it should be....to even attempt a business case for this would be an exercise in penis-wagging.
  2. ::edits out the Lancer talk, since there's another post about that; the rest stands:: One hopes that these cues inspire them to clean up the clunky Galant.
  3. It's not an AMAZING car, but it looks decent to me. It may not get the buyers the M3 will (that badge still means infinitely more), but it won't flop.
  4. Can't believe a nose job wasn't worth the trouble to them.
  5. "Sir, it's Mazda on the line from down the hall, saying they want their front fender treatment back."
  6. OK, linescore: -three years to give us the four door (and overall design scheme) Europe already had, coming likely at the end of Europe's cycle. -eight (!) years to make a Focus coupe, and on the second generation, where the idea doesn't look as good. -coupe looks like a 70s European Escort. -where are the hatch versions? Stinkin' Ford, people....
  7. I thought Honda and BMW scrapped merger talks. What gives? Maybe Chris Bangle flew to Cali on a favor?
  8. Anyone else get a feel of the old 600/Caravelle? That being said, chicks, old men, and rental fleets will eat these up like an afternoon at Souplantation.
  9. Those undertones stodd out to me also in many angles. That being said, it will fly off the lots, watch. Being Japanese alone means a great portion of those in the market for new cars are already on board.
  10. Everyone's problem is the spoiler, which is neither here nor there to me. You guys either just plain don't like spoilers, or the fact that the more ostentatious kind were a trend people threw onto 90s Japanese cars. Basically your Internet-hyperbole-fueled biases are overcoming you all. I just personally wish it was the 4-door instead of the 2-door, and that it either keep the normal grille or went with headlights to match. I have no problem with the Ram Air hood (as long as it's functional)...and just like with the Cobalt SS, I can take or leave the wing, but at least in both cases they made one that worked for the car (for someone, anyway) Props to hyperv6 for being a voice of reason in this thread also....and inspiring this add-on edit.
  11. I don't think the current GP is ugly, and how is it not uniquely styled?
  12. Still better than most of the recent all-American efforts IMO.

    Pictures!

I was about to say you had the long arm of the law, but I kinda figured it was dude next to you.
  14. Not to nitpick (as right now, this post isn't too popular), but there's no such thing as a '91 Achieva. This was the new-for-'92 (as the Camry was also), and I remember that whole campaign...
  15. Corvette piece that starts like a razor commercial made by someone who hit the Flash Gordon movie a bit too hard: Ah, the old Taking Charge campaign. And yeah, I know I said I would stop with the Daewoos, but I couldn't resist the following two for the GM guys among us... Gentra (our Aveo): Winstorm:
  16. The entire world got GM's T-body, and Korea was no exception....see the Daewoo Maepsy: Even threw A Flock Of Seagulls some foreign royalty checks. And the generation after, our/their LeMans: Thirdly, a GM synergy ad of sorts, for the Lacetti (Forenza, Optra, or Excelle elsewhere): Another Daewoo called the Imperial (Holden-based, mayhap?): Alright, enough of Korea, back to America, here's Chrysler's Imperial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ4637DN1wQ
  17. Korean spots for a Daewoo called the Espero... The sound effects they use coincinding with the door slams aren't very inspiring. That's the one wioth the better side view. Seems to be a cross between a Cutlass Supreme, Sable, Scorpio, Carlton, and Citroen XM. Yeah, I know, way to name all the thematic sedans of that time period. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUiXj3GzcWI I guess that's supposed to be Korea's "Voice Of God" type announcer guy? Looking at that car, it does seem to be W-body based.
  18. Damn, here's some real cool ones coming up. Chinese Buick Excelle ad: Here's one for the Datsun 240Z: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxd9jjzPtOI For all you Oldsmophiles, the 70 442: 88 Regal: Remember this jingle? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9mptYFDT0M
  19. A spot to make one think the 77 Z28 wasn't that neutered after all....
  20. How about the vintage H-body Pontiac Sunbird? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9f4Ix6sia8
  21. A Looney Tunes based Plymouth piece from 1969: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGREWH2FaJM
  22. Let's see what juicy clips we come up with. This is a Buick dealer spot out of the Tri-State area: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAqQJbOW4Lk A cartoon ad for the 1969 Dodge Charger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoMr0WUy5V0 More later.
  23. I've tried. Can't help it, rubbing one out comes in handy (pun intended). Even behind closed doors with a chick, you have to finish yourself off sometimes.Louis CK never lied about feeling like a real pud sometimes afterward, but it's the thing to do when you're looking for that release. Whether it's over an ill porno scene or thinking back to that last ep swung with a certain chick that just needs to be revisited right then and there (only at home, LOL) Secure in my manhood, my straightness, and all that...and I admit it. I like busting nuts too much.
  24. There ain't that much good tail (or head clinics, if you will) in the world....and to drink that much means a headache every single day....I don't do it anymore, and am not interested in going back either. But them bones were nothing short of enjoyable. I'm trying to be on this planet for a while though.... Now if smoking weed was legal, however......
  25. ::checks left side of post:: Yeah, I figured this was Canada talking. They ain't having NOTHING like that in the U.S., where a country that's big on pig is tryna be up in everyone's health (of course for money reasons)
