  1. Universal prob. couldn't get the real deal Banshee for the movie (and styling for the 93 Firebird was inspired by it)....but talk was ramping up at the time of the F-bodies going front-drive....GM backpedaled at the last minute. Yeah, naysayers like Jim Rome aside, the XR4Ti (and more importantly the Sierra group as a whole) was a car I would own to this day... But to be real, a lot of bread and butter 80's fare DID look alike. Still my favorite car era.

    Here you go....
  3. Yeah, on CBS radio (formerly Infinity) stations that carried Howard Stern, LA and other Western markets got Adam Carolla, while NYC and other Eastern markets got...David Lee Roth? I heard that David's show was pretty "safe" sounding also. They could just as easily have moved frickin' Mancow to 97.1 IMO....but I think Adam will get better.
  4. Grip a 300 or Charger and call it a day.

    You mean "lustiest?"
  6. I'm the KING of 97.1 among folks I know. Just switched my clock radio to it this year (away from 570)....with the exception of when John & Jeff go on one of their far-right rants about how tough on crime they'd be or something, it's thoroughly listenable through the week. I'm glad the Triplets and Leykis have added more affiliates (more places I can move and feel safe!)How do you guys feel about Adam Carolla's show? They've said a few winners on there, but it's mostly kinda safe so far from what I've heard.
  7. The Ute is sold in South Africa under the Chevy badge (as is the Commodore, badged a Lumina)
  8. Croc, Turbo200, and (in a chance encounter) Rodimus Fire Convoy... NERRRRRRRRRRRRDS!!!
  9. Oh God, got the Camaro fanboys started....I'm listening out for the argument that a stock IROC-Z would kill a brand new Murcielago in a road race and then cure AIDS.
  10. Shows how full of themselves the muscle car crowd really can be at times...and how little they actually know about cars...
  11. Yo, Croc, Turbo, guess who else I bumped into, as if by accident? RODIMUS FIRE CONVOY. He just mentioned C&G, and I was like "What do you know about C&G?", then we just told one another our names....
  12. Put those two chicks in the context of a threesome with you in it....then you'll get it. Now if a butch chick is involved anywhere in the equation, of course ain't nothin' hot about that.
  13. Some .com sites are for the whole world. The sites for BBC News and the Premiership, ending in ".com" originate out of England.
  14. Turbo, speak up, I'm getting ready to be up there.
  15. The guy was doing well with this post, then went and got himself banned....oh well....
  16. Damn, Croc...wish I was there to see that. As far as that Gordini, 68, your boy XP wasn't right to break that window. Lookswise, however, makes me think of a Plymouth Arrow and an early Skyline having a kid. As many cars as I know about, I've never seen that car a day in my entire life.
  17. Yeah, screw the breakfast, that's a lot of work putting that together and no one's speaking on it.... So if we're talking 11 sharp (we give one another until 11:20 to come together), I'll be the cat with a blue/gray/black (Orlando Magic colors, LOL) backpack, black knit cap (puffed out from my hair tucked inside of it), brown sweats with a tannish sweat jacket and black tee. Basically, wearing brown and black, and I'm a six-footer. Meeting spot? Make that the main entrance where everyone is buying tickets. What about you guys? Post it before 10am Friday, so I know who and what to look for.
  18. Must be these summery days, because I saw two Solstices today...one of which was parked by the Gay & Lesbian Center!! But it's definitely turning heads... Also, -a gray Zimmer -olive green and white 65 4-door standard Chevy with moon discs on the wheels -purple 65 Riviera with oval taillights swapped from some other vehicle.
  19. I guess I'm good with those IHOP pancakes around 10ish....isn't there one over by you, Croc, or over by the convention center? PM me with some numbers or something.....I'm out for the night in another hour.
  20. Not to act like the leader, but last call, is it just us three for Friday morning?
  21. I wouldn't care, but for Apple's continued arrogance... "we're liberating Intel chips from PCs!" It's stuff like that.... I wish Commodore/Amiga never bowed out the way they did...esp. since Amiga was killing Apple when it came to graphics....
  22. I highly doubt true ricers would drive a Hyundai or SUV of any kind.
  23. Things happen when you're writing a post while watching the Shield and answering several phone calls interrupting that. Monday thru Thursday isn't the best for primetime message board weighing-in....for me anyway.
  24. While that's something I could wonder my goddamn self, can you and the others let this GO already? On another board the acronym NGCCOT was used, meaning "nothing good can come of this"... That applies here. So please. Take the initiative...and dead it.
  25. Well, let's extend the lock-in to Wednesday night, and come up with a better day and/or time that the most of us can get in on this. You guys wanna stick to Friday morning, or go for Saturday instead? I'll volunteer that the weekend will be hectic with the amount of people there, so I would prefer to stick to Friday, but I'm flexible. So all SoCals: -if you're out, say you're out. -if you're in, speak on a day to agree to. I can get up with you guys, dip up there with a ladyfriend, or go alone and enjoy myself the normal way with no pressure... It's up to the rest of you, I don't really care one way or another...we can rack it up another time.
