You really can't plan a pregnancy. Some couples try for children for years before they finally have one while others have them after the first intercourse.No pregnancy is a tragedy. Tragedy occurs during birth if the mother does things that are unhealthy for the developing fetus (nicotine, crack babies, etc.) or after birth if the baby is neglected. I'm sorry that you have had negative experiences in the past, but it seems somewhat judgmental to project that on everyone who may or may not have an unplanned pregnancy.

My general attitude is simply not to talk about religion unless there is a mutual conversation on it. If people ask me questions, fine; if I ask people questions, fine, though they better be real, genuine questions and not "DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR??!!" cuz that won't fly with me. I've gotta be pretty close with someone before I'll go into this topic because there really has to be an underlying understanding so it doesn't come off as rude and condescending.
