    Buicks new name?

Finally someone with common sense in this thread...
  3. BROKEN RECORD!!  :o  B)
  4. My advice to Buick is to fill their area with Lucernes. No LaCrosses anywhere on the premises. Have a loaded Terraza. Have a loaded Rainier. Have a loaded Rendezvous. That will maximize their sales. If they HAVE to have a LaCrosse, stick them in the back behind the information booth. and behind tall vehicles like the Rainier and Rendezvous. And keep the LaCrosses locked so people cannot see the orange wood up close or touch the chintzy plastic or experience the incredibly cramped rear seat.
  5. ...but GM has no control of its dealers! How can you have worked at a dealer and not know this fundamental fact???? IF GM CAN'T EVEN GET ITS DEALERS TO STOP INSTALLING CANVAS ROOFS ON THE NEW CADILLACS, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK GM CAN GET THEM TO CHANGE THEIR CORE BUSINESS STRATEGIES??
  6. If you don't chill on this, we're gonna come by in a black helicopter and DROWN you in the lake!
  7. Exactly, which is why we've been saying all along your 20 points plan is much more applicable to GM dealers than to GM, the corporation. Get it? Got it? GOOD!

    Buicks new name?

OK you made your point, however irrelevant it was as I never implied it was national to begin with  . Way to make a big deal out of a passing comment. Jeez
  9. veuh-LEET going by the french.....but who really knows. its an awful name. riviera is much better, especially since the velite has a riviera rear.
  10. Seriously...this isn't that hard: Set up your voicemail to plainly state your name and explain that if you are looking for ___ you have the wrong number.
  11. Fusion and Xterra

    Buicks new name?

...I never suggested anything to the contrary. He said it was a strange name and hard to pronounce, and I was merely pointing out that it might not be all that unfamiliar. Plus, he lives in CA and should know Safeway.
  13. Dude...he accused me of being in cahoots with Rick Wagoner. I'm not gonna just let that go. See the thing is, all of us have, at one time or another, tried to get him to show any quantitative data whatsoever. He hasn't. We have also asked him very direct, pointed questions and he has shown himself to be quite the artful dodger. Sorry, I don't feel bad, not one tiny bit. At this point he is a troll since he won't even address our concerns, just resort to mudslinging.

    Buicks new name?

I am aware, but in my initial post I specifically mentioned the Safeway connection.
  15. plastic wood = plood kinda like "pleather"

    Buicks new name?

    At Safeway, it is!
  17. The Custom Cruiser and Ciera were dropped due to low sales. Hardly alienating, and hardly surprising, especially since the Ciera was virtually unchanged (in a meaningful way) from 1984-1996. 12 YEARS of the same car!!
  18. This guy is just mental. I think his paranoia is quite obvious.

AHN-clave or ON-clave certainlyv not the original French of ohn-CLAHV (ohn representing the nasal O sound in French)
  20. Well, not to be annoying, but I highly doubt GM will change their factory setup just for you. This swap is likely the only way, and just be upfront with the dealership that any interior trim damaged in the process will need to be replaced under warrenty. Dealers hate warrenty work; that should be enough of a deterrant for them.
  21. If someone hurt/murdered/molested someone very close to me I wouldn't want them to die. I'd try to feel sorry for them and the unfortunate circumstances in their life that led to their mental instability and emotional immaturity that lead to their act of aggression, and I'd work toward forgiving them. Plus, it's punishment enough they would have to live with that on their conscience for life...and if they don't then they clearly are mental and shouldn't be killed for that reason!

Well don't mention the dairy brand. The less association with heffers the better. Just mention the Swiss connection and how stylish it is, like Swiss watches. Precision. Elegance...you get the picture.
  23. OK. Fine, time to come clean. I am being paid by GM to stalk you on a message board, Buickman. I broke into your home and installed hidden cameras in all of your consumer electronic devices. I monitor the television you watch and the websites you visit. I even record all your telephone conversations. Your car has a GPS tracking device on it, and there is fairy dust in your cheerios. GM pays me handsomely for this in the form of concept cars, not cash. I currently am driving an Imaj. It's pretty sweet. Oh, and listen for the doorbell, those men in white coats should be there anytime now.
  24. That's just it, though. They are replacing the plood pieces with new brushed aluminum panels. Anything not to your satisfaction can be requested for repair...including damage to interior trim by the dealer. Prying should be kept at a minimum, especially since the wood surrounds the center stack and they can easily slip out the radio or something to make it easier. The dash is made of the squishy vinyl so it shouldn't have the scuffs and pry marks like plastic would.
  25. Buddy, I guarantee you I have no affiliation whatsoever with Rick Wagoner  . Are you REALLY that delusional / paranoid / stupid?
