  1. NO!! THERE WILL BE NO V6!!!! ...kidding! B)
  2. I dunno either :o
  3. riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. So, what is it now that they are doing that is "so detrimental"? To me, cost cutting is great.
  4. Dude that was completely tongue-in-cheek, hence the Bobbit analogy. My disposition is fantastic, I dunno what you're talking about... B)
  5. I'd recommend the Milan, sure, but he said the choice was between Malibu or G6. Malibu MAXX is on the longer wheelbase like the G6 and yet has the better interior of the Malibu, hence my recommendation for it. Also, MAXX is better for cargo.
  6. I like the smog. It makes everything glow kinda. And the sunsets are amazing. And before you ask, yes I have asthma and no I do not have issues with it at all.
  7. CA is a very good measurement for a market due to its lack of manufacturing ties. CA also has a great deal of diversity. Every minority is represented in CA. CA is a great market to measure because of the diversity, the overall neutrality due to lack of manufacturing ties, and also the fact that with the cost of living so high especially in the Southern region, cars are relatively cheaper than the rest of the country. Since people can almost buy anything they would like, price sensitivity is lower and people buy vehicles because it is what they WANT not so much what they can afford.
  8. Get a grip. First he averaged 126 a month, now he's admitting that was only twice. Then he says 80 Buicks per month, now he's admitting it included GMC. That is much more reasonable, especially giving the state of the products. Hey guess what Balthazar, he wasn't selling LaCrosses. He was doing this for years primarily during the 1990s, and I am well aware of the state of the product line then. I like Buick, but at the same time I am realistic as to the competition, something you could use to be.
  9. Just because Lorraina Bobbit owns a particular type of car doesn't mean buying that same model will compel you to sever penises. I think your logic is flawed.
  10. 80 per month is a lot more reasonable than 126 per month, but still rather high. I have a hard time believing your numbers. 3 per operating day (assuming 26 business days per month) is hard to believe. Even if your numbers are true, to achieve those numbers you had to have been in an area that DESIRED Buicks to begin with as you seem to have been very successful at sales, with an exceptionally good rate of making a sale. Knowing how uncompetitive the product has been, I find it hard to believe you actually "sold" people on the product. That is unreal demand, and unreal rates of sales. Back me up, Tanners...
  11. Are they going to do the whole series, or just this book? Because if they do the whole series I might be interested, but if they're just doing the most popular one, that's weak.
  12. No I remember, but I was referring more to the massive difference is quality of materials and quality of design. The Vectra has tighter proportions and a much higher-quality interior.
  13. jesus christ
  14. Here at USC the university sets a schedule of final exams based on when a particular class meets so there is very little room for conflict as one cannot have two classes scheduled simultaneously, though some professors like my accounting prof have "exceptions" and schedule them way early.
  15. I just hope that we no longer have the big discrepancies between Vectra/Malibu like we have with this generation.
  16. WOW!! This is what the new M-Class should have looked like!! I want one.......
  17. Malibu MAXX.
  18. That would be so retarded...GM needs the Malibu or a car in the same segment as the Malibu to be competitive! What's Chevy gonna do? For real?
  19. ...of your car, not yourself. Just clarifying. Though you can show us some of you AND your car :AH-HA_wink:
  20. PopMech always gets the details right, but none of the main things are close to accurate.
  21. i dont care much for going to bed at 5:30am and setting your alarm for 6:30am to finish studying for finals at 8am and 11am respectively...and then waking up to see its 8-f*cking-30 and sprinting 10 minutes to get to it... it went well, but DAMN!
  22. Kalli, right now I am in South-Central. It's pretty "rough" by statistical standards. At the same time, I don't feel unsafe. You just have to be smart about it. There are a lot of decent apartments around the USC-area, and there are also a lot of crappy ones as well. LA is a big city, and as far as fashion goes, I would recommend it over SF based on the Hollywood factor alone. Between Melrose, the Downtown Fashion District, Hollywood, OC, and Santa Monica (Promenade), there are so many fashion-oriented places. Plus the sunny weather is always a plus. It rains like 5 times a year, and nearly all in February.
  23. I'm sure I'll get dragged to the Lexus display at LAIAS, so I guess I could check it out...but I have never been a fan of Lexus. BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti...sure but not Lexus.
  24. Yes, a few minor things were changed, but the quality of the interior was not. I don't need to sit in it to verify the existence of huge panel gaps that can be plainly seen in pictures. I also know that, while a few things were changed, the overall quality of the materials had not because if so, it would have been given a big fanfare on the site like it was with the 2006 Impala. Don't worry, I'll sit in one in January at LAIAS, but don't think I'll be wowed by a dated interior.
  25. F*ck off, I want one! ...and there is no way anyone would call me redneck, either! So there! :P
