    A Favor

Video didn't load for me, but voted 5. Where is the museum? I've been to an old car museum in LA, but they didn't feature sitting in the vehicles...
  3. Happy birthday!
  4. Yeah...that's pretty bad. I was all over the place, too...but I don't recall ever doing anything like that--and no one has told any stories, either! I just remember whenever I'd visit my grandmother when I was little, I'd go into the kitchen and stack the spices all up on the rotating cabinet they had, and SPIN IT!! Every single time I'd freak out the nurse she had during the day at the condo. Fun times. My dad was a total enabler, too.
  5. And I'm sure you did that just to get the moron to shut up for 2 seconds, right? haha
  6. Obviously whoever it was decided to do it as an immature ploy for attention. Knowing that you are above that and he is being immature...well there you go. I mean you just said it had nothing to do with politics and it was obvious he was just being a smart ass, presumably to get a reaction out of someone. Why give him what he wants? And if that is what he wants to communicate about himself, then that is his right. Really, I'm not agreeing with him, but I think your "If my girl didn't need to attend this school he would be going to f@#king hospital right now" is just a wee bit of an overreaction.
  7. Why quote yourself? Nothing in the bolded text shows any malicious intent per se. Your addition of the running commentary, however, does demonstrate that whoever it was was not just being ignorant. Still, though, I don't see the need for violent urges.
  8. Not really. From the original post, it could very easily have been someone who is just not all that smart, but as the OP noted, it was intentional. That does change things a bit. That said, considering has been a legal form of free speech in this country, I don't honestly see what the big deal is.
  9. You didn't say that in your original post. Changes things a bit.
  10. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-liqu...0,2708883.story
  11. And then he crashed his Solstice into a guardrail, right? Or is my timeline off here?
  12. God forbid anyone having an American Flag mousepad, coffee mug, bandana, or any such item and use it for anything!
  13. Disagree. SAAB has been watered-down so much within GM and starved for product. Maybe with this autonomy SAAB will be better, and at the very least it will be more attractive to buyers as it is not so tightly integrated into the mediocre GM blob.
  14. Frosted tips...a reference to your blond highlights you used to get? And funny picture, but I am not Asian.
  15. ...I think the frosted tips have affected NOS' brain in a very NOT optimal way.
  16. Can GM afford to benefit charity with this?
  17. Cavalier is a death trap in certain collision situations. Go for the Century, which is generally well-rated all-around. Major plus that it's fully-loaded. Ws are good cars.
  18. Sears has been struggling for years. Too bad, they are such an American institution. So many houses were built by Sears back in the day...and unlike the prefab houses manufactured today, those were both well-designed and full of character.
  19. Yes. The technology has been paid for. Lutz' quote doesn't make much sense here.
  20. Ruh-roh! My Aurora lost a bit of boost last night parallel parking outside my apartment...and I survived! Seriously, it didn't even require a feat of strength. Dude's wife needs serious medical attention.
  21. Gap? Why Gap? They own so many damn stores I have a hard time seeing them floundering. What have you heard? I think they're crap, so I won't miss them, but I've never heard any speculation on them like that. As far as Circuit City goes, do not miss them! Best Buy is almost always a better buy, and BB actually stocked product. BB may not be the best, but their customer service is amazing.
  22. PDC is definitely good! That's where we ended up going last night (Westlake location), and mmmmmm one of the best meals I've had! But, you get what you pay for... Then later, one of my fraternity brothers had his 21st last night at midnight at The Edison downtown, and MAN they make those drinks strong!! But for $13 apiece they better...
  23. So let me get this straight...GM has a "Name the G8 ST" contest, and the winner submitted "G8 ST"? And then picks a Torrent? W-O-W what a dumbass.
  24. Every vehicle I have driven often, but intermittently, requires more effort to steer in parking lot/driveway situations because the engine is idling, it is often after a cold start, and there isn't that much power going to the power steering pump. Even my Aurora exhibits this occasionally, but not enough to be worrisome. What is worrisome, though, is that the man's wife does not have the strength to turn the non- or minimally-boosted steering wheel. She really needs to lift some 5 lb free weights because it sounds like she has some major muscle atrophy issues.
