  1. this might be that scientist....? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Gold
  2. i think he was hinting at the most effective hybrids... public transit uses..... right sixty8? eh... i still think changingworldtech.com has the best solution. but there are scientists, at least one "infamous*" one has said we do have an unlimted supply of oil, just have to beable to drill for it and beable to improve drilling methods. * he also made an insane prediction about something else, can't remember, and everyone thought noway, but it became true... i try a quick look up for this guy...?
  3. interesting... they going to do the same w/ GM FORD and DCX?
  4. i though paulie said ....later this month... because he used the "contact us" thin gon the website
  5. nope. still has last year's engine. probably would have to recertify it if they did... or gm didn't have that engine capacity to upgrade it...?
  6. http://www.chevrolet.com/impala/specifications/ for the 07, it's still 21/31 for the 3.5L
  7. the 3.5 was listed like that on the aura on saturn.com ...maybe new testing?...maybe a gear change... maybe they just want to say it WILL get better mpg than that(after it's broken in)... i thought the 20/29 was for the new 3.9...? on the impala
  8. other than being a pontiac... looks wise, IMHO it look sbetter than the aveo in those pics... but it shouldn't be a pontiac, unless the could put at least the 2.2L in it for a sport model lol
  9. bad experience w/ one?
  10. but does it have a hemi? <---- from dodgefan... hey, where'd he come from! j/k
  11. oh.... so it's going to be a very small amount of GL's (march-august?) before they'd have to switch it to the 08 designation?edit : very small, as in .... maybe 1/8th the whole aura run or less
  12. i thought it was pretty much a sure thing.... and the aura green line power train is listed on media.gm under powertrain as an 07 model powertrain...... anyone else notice that?

  17. great news!
  18. the xp restore is just settings and drivers and such, i don't think it'd get rid of spyware i use spybot s&d available here , just update it before you scan your pc. it has tons of things it looks for. for virus scan i just use free-av.com. are you just getting massive pop ups or noticeable slowdowns?
  19. i'm just waiting till tomorrow, hope it's more than just a "we're going to build it"

    i like the look

"sir did you know why i pulled you over?" "was i idling to fast officer?" "sir i don't believe you were idling..." "officer...<insert officer's name here>... let me show you show you something...." later... "i can't believe he still gave me a ticket for idling!!!!!!" and the hilarity ensues....

  24. hope i wasn't part of that group a NEW engine you say... well... i'll say no more untill it's verified but sounds exciting!
  25. no, the 3500 and 3900 are the youngsters in the line that started as the 2.8 in the mid 80's...then the 3100 then the 3400. but if they do use the 3900, again , hopefully at least 260 can be coaxed from them stock.. either w/ 3V or just good tuning...
