  1. is the 3.9L going to disappear in the next 2 years? if it's to win the media and sales back fine, but will that be one of the shortest lived engines in the past 20 years? what maybe 3-4years?
  2. loki

    anticipated lsX

all the more reason for them to have had the time to get it working, use it's benefits and work out any problems.but also with the $ crunch it could've been dropped to save money...have to wait and find out... hopefully not not wait too long.
  3. maybe a vibe replacement? edit-- though it is slightly smaller.
  4. headlights look odd, but that's about it. just barely enough similarity to accidentily call it a nox from the profile, not bad.
  5. didn't this car have a recall about a brake problem?
  6. mass e-85 use isn't feesable, there's also an article on biofuels in the new popular mechanics. there was an article on Digg.com that said if everyone use all ethonal, we'd be down to 1% use of land for living space, the rest would have to be farmed to make enough fuel for the average person to drive 12k a year etc etc etc
  7. i bet some performance parts'll be out by early 07 to boost power to about 270hp or more? or will "this" be an option on the 08 model, if the cadillac gets DI and making more like 280hp in the next year. any ideas on this, inside info?
  8. maybe the wieght is alot of support parts to make it one tough car...along with making it still cheap by not using lightweight expensive materials. the 3.5 upgrades should be across the board, wouldn't it be cheaper too?
  9. loki

    .....

if the oustide is a "flater envoy" the inside must be on par with the outlook/enclave but for a "gmc profesional"
  10. yeah, needs to updrage the engine to the 3.5L, may have to for emissions standards, wouldn't it be cheaper to stop producing the 3.4L? if the 5speed can handle it, ~220hp prolly be much better than the ~180hp
  11. oh so correct, but especially the nomad line. nomad came to mind immediately, and then a larger mini (much bigger hood campared to)
  12. take the tax breaks peopel get from buying fuel efficeint vehicles and put that into lowering gas prices lol it'd work for the short run... oh if only TCP was common place. (changingworldtech.com)
  13. agree about the leather, looks very nice. 3.5's upgrades going into the W-platform? only thing (IMO) that looks stupid on it is the plastic fill panels in the lower grill by the foglights i hope and forsee alot of these selling.
  14. if everyone would put they're efforts toward a little change, say some well diserved feedback on their website like here hopefully something could happen to these reviews, say at least not missing these obvious facts we're saying they are doing. if you do write feed back to them, find a place to post it in the forums, or would that not be cool?
  15. but that also means "you" could go in and say it's not true untill any real evidence came out. this is a good system if the ones that are knowledgable about the topic post what they know and watch it time to time to keep it correct.
  16. just noticed i made it to redline member.... woohoo! lol
  17. If the epsilons are getting the vvt 3.5L (impala's base engine), keeping it's near 220 hp, will this make the 3.9's seem amlost useless with it's 227 hp, or will it get the 6speed (at or mt) treatment it should to fully use the 3.9L's power? i bring this up since the manual isn't available for the conv. presently. yes the 3.9 has prolly more noticable kick to it, but could the power ratings could make it look foolish? what's anyone else think of this? anyone have any ideas, opinions, other than "why doesn't it have the 6 speed manual allready"? off topic and who cares how futile, i think i'm going to start berating msn autos for thier lack of easily found facts for thier g6 page -- engine and mpg facts, found at msn g6 page mainly curious how long it'll take for them to correct, if ever.
  18. only the worst internal affairs are the president's worry, congress is supposed to take care of what the country needs, the president should only push congress in the right direction. aka stop blaming bush, write your congressman/woman to correct this problem of us not supporting GM.
  19. it is kinda "weird" hearing the engine start up behind you in an MR2, my bro has one from the years they put a 2.2L in it...can push it self up a moderate(~about 10-15%) hill in second gear at idle

    I Love Team America

you probably mean "lord of war" , "God of war" is a ps2 game classic comedies pull me in, princess bride, monte python,..... the good stuff, lol
  21. have to say you're not the only one.
  22. my bro almost bought one(del sol), but then got an mr2, it's fun to drive other than the toyota spacing of the pedals...a shoe's width when you're on the pedal lol
  23. you'd think they'd see that before posting that picture....wow... lol
  24. base v6 (~240 hp) ~ is the average said around 22k? 6 speeds at and mt rs v6 (~270 hp) ~(based on the 22k figure) 24k sound reasonble? both AT & MT available, upgraded wheels 19", rs paint scheme/color, slight handling difference rs v8 (~320 hp) ~ 26k same as v6 rs , but w/ v8 badging ss/z28 (depending on classification hierarchy) ~400-450hp ~30-35k MT only, badging/paint scheme/color, barebones option, race seats convert. 2-3k premium? premium stereo pack. from a top shelf name--not infinty or bose. 2-3K. if t-tops or a no go, sunroof opt avail. i think the base should even have just a touch of lux at least avail. not sure if a designation would be needed though. "disclaimer" --the prices are an estimate only based on what i can remeber was thrown around in previous discussions.
