    Tundra ad

Chevy puts some exaggerated ads out there, too. They had a commercial showing a Silverado HD pulling a train. And train had several cars attached.
  6. If you've been wondering what's been happening with this section, I apologize. I have been extremely busy as of late between work and class obiligations. However, now that classes are out of the way for the summer, I'll have more free time to work on the RR (among other things). The next RR will be up by this weekend with the June edition coming at its regularly scheduled time. Thanks for understanding.
  7. You guys have yet to answer the question why Nissan would possibly want to copy the Ion. What, did they sit around thinking: "Hmm, let's design the Sentra after the ugliest POS compact that most everybody laughs at. Yeah, that'll be a sales success!" Please.
  8. Sorry, man. I do not buy it. The Sentra is clearly a fusion of the 3rd-gen Altima and current Maxima designs. I've said before, I'll say it again: I do not know anyone who would copy the Ion's design...intentionally or otherwise.
  9. Anything from buyer's remorse to an unexpected emergency, I'd wager.
  10. 1. Sentra (SE-R only) 2. Mazda3 (5-door only) 3a. Civic (coupe only) 3b. Lancer (2008) 5. Impreza (2006-07 WRX sedan only) 6. GTI (DSG) Yeah, I'm picky. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?
  11. It's not perfect but it's nowhere near being the horrible OS people are making it out to be. You want a crap OS? Try Windows Me. You'll beg to run Vista instead.
  12. Yeah...I haven't had any of those problems. Have you guys that are bashing it actually tried it for any meaningful length of time yourselves?
  13. 1. That's a program not "Windows controlling your computer over the internet". 2. It's no different from any other spyware/adware/malware removal program. 3. You can turn it off.
  14. As a 2 1/2 month owner of a Vista laptop, I can say any issues I've had with it have been mostly through some drivers and codecs not being made for Vista yet. In and of it itself, it's not a bad system. Different hardware upgrades are weighed differently, it's not a flat number of three. For example, you'd use more "upgrade credits" (my term) replacing your processor than adding RAM. Plus, when you reach the upgrade limit, I believe you just need to re-activate Vista not buy another copy. That's just plain BS.
  15. Geez... You could have at least have alluded to an appliance they actually make, like lawnmowers.
  16. Poking fun at your own product is arrogant?
  17. VQ engine in RWD Nissans and Infinitis: Best sounding V6 this side of an exotic. 3.0L V6s in Toyotas and Lexuses have a distinct starter and idle sound. Aircooled Porsche 911s: Unmistakably angry-sounding SOBs. Subaru boxer engines have a distinct sound as well (especially WRX/STis with aftermarket exhausts).
  18. Nissan Maxima Diesel in 2010 WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 18, 2007) -- Nissan today announced its plans to launch its first clean diesel engine in the United States for use in the Nissan Maxima in 2010. The passenger car will be powered by an all-new Alliance engine co-developed with its partner, Renault, and will clear stringent U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier II Bin 5 emissions requirements. Further details about the car, including its launch date, will be announced later. “Nissan is fully engaged in reducing emissions and improving fuel economy and efficiency. Launching a clean diesel engine in the U.S. will offer customers the benefits of fuel economy, CO2 reduction and a satisfying, fun-to-drive performance that is a hallmark of the Nissan brand,” said Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., in a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations. “You can expect to see more diesel engines in our product lineup in Europe, Japan, North America and China by fiscal year 2010.” Nissan already has clean diesel engines in Europe offering significant fuel efficiency and the ability to run on bio-diesel fuel blends. Together, this combination reduces CO2 emissions and dependence on pure petroleum-based fuels. During the first half of fiscal year 2007, Nissan will introduce the new Euro 4-compliant, two-liter-class diesel engine in Europe. By fiscal year 2010, Nissan will launch vehicles with clean diesel engines in Japan, the United States and China. This initiative is part of Nissan’s plan to reduce CO2 emissions for the future as outlined in Nissan Green Program 2010, the company’s mid-term environmental strategy. Nissan will be investing in a variety of technologies including fuel cell cars, hybrid cars, biofuel-based cars, electric vehicles, improvement in gasoline engines and clean diesels. The company is committed to bringing the right technology to the right market at the right time with the right value to the customer. [source: Nissan North America]

    That's IT!

Better than his old car at least. I'd be excited to own any new car after an '88 Festiva.
