Same "dead stare" happened with my last cat back in February. I was visiting my parents on a Sunday night, laying on the couch with her while watching TV. Suddenly, she glazingly looked at the top of my head and would not respond for several minutes (she had not been holding her food very well for some time, and had lost weight...I thought she was going to die on me). We decided to hold off for a few days to see how she would do. I went home the next day, and they said she seemed ok. Sadly, she passed that Wednesday evening out in her cubby. She was almost 14 years old as an outdoor cat in the country, so she outlived her expectancy by quite a bit...same with our other cat that went before her. I still go out to see her when I come home out of habit. That's always a downer...

Have only seen a couple movies over the last couple months... Let the Right One In - Swedish vampire movie, snubbed by the Academy. Luckily for the tards who cannot/refuse to read subtitles, there's an American remake in the works. On behalf of semi-intelligent movie fans the world over, I present to these morons (and the movie studios who supply this trash) an endless suplly of cyanide. Same here with That 70's Show. I liked it when it aired, but never had the chance to watch it that much due to work and extra-curricular crap back in high school and early college. About 3 weeks ago, I bought the series on DVD, and it's great. I didn't start watching Family Guy" until after the first seasons were released on DVD. Still one of my favorite shows (also have all the DVD sets). [scrubs] was in its 6th season before I go hooked on it (again, own all DVD sets). All of M*A*S*H had aired before I was even born, but I'm still addicted (yes, all DVD sets are mine, thought I still want the big box set). The newest of these shows is Arrested Development. Friggen' hillarious (Only 1st season on DVD).

I thought that they cancelled it a little while back. At least it is only a delay...

This is one reason I wasn't all that excited when the CTS won the car of the year...even though it had stiffer competition in its class. MT OTY awards are trash. The Turdra...with all of its problems so far...won this. I think it cheapens the victories of the CX9 and the CTS...

My gripes: 1. The interior...what the? How in the HELL could they NOT use the SLS interior (and I'm really just refering to the dash unit...not to full-length console and such) on this MCE??? The world of difference between that and what we're now slated for is just incredibly pathetic. Who still employs the people who make these decisions? 2. I would really have like to see it become the SLS wheelbase. I'd sacrifice the little bit of performance for a more accomodating back seat for this car. However, the performance loss coud have been offset a little if... 3. ...they also gave the Northstar one last power boost, as I suspect its end time draws near with the impending UV8/N* replacement. Maybe they've juiced it for all its worht by now, though? 4. The wheels in these photos do look unusually small. Are those 17's? For appearance's sake, they go up another inch in diameter. I don't think a modest increase will hurt the ride incredibly so. Other than that, I like what the did with the V6. While the exterior has been maybe too plain-jane, I still personally liked it. These updates bring into the new CTS fold and blend with the former STS nicely. True, the fender vents could have been integrated better (maybe too much to re-style fender/doorpanels?), and the spoiler looks a little tacked on, but those are forgivable here. I just wish they wouldn't screw over ths car, like they seem eager to do. I believe there is room for the CTS, STS and ULS when it arrives (no, I don't want the DTS around...it's time to say goodbye...)... Johnk

As far as autorags go, I usually check out Automobile, Road & Track, Car and Driver, and MotorTrend, with the latter two seeming to be the most full of $h!. Johnk
