  1. "Reality is one long, on-going conflict, rife with uncertainty. Your life is a part of this struggle. You are provided with the concepts of right and wrong, and though you may question the details, you generally accept them. Certain parts of your life---people, objects, events, sensations---may give rise to a belief that the good is worth the struggle, and that it must prevail. However, tread lightly: those life aspects that give you reason to have faith of any kind may end up being the very artillery capable of destroying it. Be careful in what---or more importantly, who]---you trust. Do not get caught up in the ecstasy that is blind faith..."
  2. Well, any use I had for the Vibe is now flushed away...
  3. Thanks, everyone! Off work now...time to go out for the night...
  4. Grey's Anatomy American Idol Toyotas (including Lexus & Scion) and their drivers Religious hypocrites (I know a f@#kton) Being broke *Cincinatti Bengals *Pittsburg Steelers *Michigan Wolverines ...maybe more to come later. EDIT: * indicates dislike in a mere light-hearted fashion.
  5. I'm torn. I like the design, but I don't think it could pass well enough as a Pontiac. Like the greenhouse, esp. from the sides...looks too much like it is from a current-gen Malibu to be a Pontiac. The rear, as a previous poster stated, looks a little too common-place; however, I believe it would work well enough as it is. The front needs more work, also. I suppose it depends on what the nose of the next GTO looks like, but I'd like them to draw some more specific cues from that (not a transplant, mind you). I'm under the impression that the next GTO is supposed to be a little more angular-twin-port and such. As far as the interior... ...move the window switches, and it's good.
  6. While I won't comment on conference versus conference, Florida definately outplayed (and in this instance, out-coached) my Buckeyes. Minus Ginn's 20 seconds of play, and Pittman's TD run...OSU didn't even show up, which disgusts me more than should be possible. Congrats to the Gators...you played like you really wanted it, and thus, deserve it. And to the Big Ten big-wigs who keep it in their heads that our season should end before Thanksgiving...f@#king croak or retire already.
  7. I dunno...I kinda like it. It does look like it was done a little on the cheap (especially the interior), and the rear 3/4 kick-up does look kinda cramped on a car this size...but still looks pretty good. I'm too lazy to read up on mechanicals and such at the moment, so I'll limit my comments to visuals.
  8. Would any of the GM ones listed be CTS unveilings? I'm losing what little patience I have left for this. I really, really want to see the whole thing. EDIT: Well, Monday at 9:40am it is, then. I can wait that much longer.
  9. I'm seriously shocked that this vehicle has yet to break cover. Are they that good at keeping a lid on things this time around?
  10. Sweet...I'll have to stop in sometime and look one over. I live about 1500 feet from there.
  11. Well, you gotta cut GM a little slack on this one. Of the 6 trim-level/powertain combinations, 2/3 come available with the very new and still limited production 6-speed. This tranny is still a year or two away from full production. This may only be the case for the initial model year of the new 'Bu. If by the '10 model year this is still the case...well, by all means, GM deserves the criticism (if not by '09). On a side note, good to see you posting again, O.C.
  12. Sounds like a year later than what it should be.
  13. I say bring China's SLS over here as the STS, V-ify it (would love to see that new interior V-ed), and I'd definitely take that.
  14. There's really no chance of a OSU-Notre Dame (it's quite fun to make Brady Quinn look like the fecal mass that he is) match like last year, so I'm hoping for USC.
  15. I'll be here at the OSU campus, enjoying everything. Now way should OSU lose. If they do, they've only beaten themselves. ...and even if the Buckeyes choke, Ann Arbor is still a whore.
  16. I say the STS should ride on the 120" wheelbase, and a possible (though from what I gather, not likely so far) STC (or 6-Series competitor) should ride on the 116" wheelbase. In many of the current car's reviews, lack of rearseat legroom has been a common complaint. Judging by the pics, four extra inches will seem to remedy that. Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. I don't know.
  17. Hehe...I was about to post the subscription thing, too, but it's free.
  18. If GM is still debating the viability of a ULS vehicle for NA, this model with all the bells and whistles would make a nice little supplement model here. Whether or not you view it in that regard, this vehicle (sans clear taillights, but with some more exterior sprucing, and powertrain boost) is a must for the North Americal market. If you want to truly compete with the big boys, suck it up and produce the true competitive product already, no excuses.
  19. Gee...that doesn't look poorly photoshopped or anything.
  20. "from what I've seen" does not necessarily imply he is connected. It could quite possibly mean that he has come across this info in past postings of others on this or other sites. He could simply stating his judgement of any info he's gathered. It's an observation I've made some time ago that you tend to jump on members ---who state their ideas/predictions based on info they may have---just because they don't always preceed such statements with "I'm definitely not an insider, but these are my ideas (or something to that effect)..." By now, you should have a general idea of who the main insiders are. That doesn't mean others here do not have connections. Still, kindly stop trying to make some "the-way-you-said-that-implies-you're-an-insider-but-I-know-that-can't-possibly-be-true-so-I'll-pompously-point-it-out" situation out of members' posts.
  21. Isn't there some way to finally get buickman off of this site and keep him off?
  22. Looks much more coherent than the Sebring, but way too similar to the Charger.
